ok, maybe tell us why, but really its not. Sorry to shatter your dreams, but Michael Owen is not.

    I have 1 pick.Thierry Henry.

Henry, only 29, is already the all time leader in goals for Arsenal, and he still has many years ahead of him to add to that tally. He has not necessarily been impressive at the World Cup level, but niether has Owen, although Henry did lead France with goals at this years World Cup. Henry, has always perserved in club games, and for that, I think he is the best striker.

I agree with Henry. His pace is amazing, his shooting ability too. And the guy scores that easy it's almost inhuman.

Michael Owen has a great talent but has a lot of injurys. They killed his speed. I hope he comes back strong.

One of my favourites is Miroslav Klose. He played a great World Cup and regular season this year. Maybe he hasn't Henrys skills but Klose is a very intelligent player and smells the goals.

Without a doubt, Peter Crouch! He's got height, he's got pace, he's got some skills up his sleeves! Nah I'm only joking! I'd have to agree with the majority & go with Henry, the guy's just in a different class from everyone else!

I personally Think Zidane is the best striker, he is a legend, look he is old but he does tactics and he is fast, did u see what he did in the world cup now you all should say he is.

the second guy i think he is a good striker is ofcourse Peter Crouch, yes he is tall he is known to a header and shoots well, and he is good.

first of all Zidane is retired IMO, and Peter Crouch is mediocre at best.

Crouch's heading skills are dreadful, and his footwork subpar. He gets lucky to score goals.
