Just because she lost it doesn't mean they're just going to suddenly drop the PG thing, that's here to stay, as far as I see it.

Sadly the PG thing will be here until the target audience with a problem (us) stops watching and stops buying merchandise and paying for services (PPV). Then Vince will open his eyes and give us what we want.
I can't blame him for supporting his wife in her campaign, I think that's a stand-up kind of guy to do so. Problem is he is changing his company to try and suck up to the critics so she may be more successful. He is not caring so much for the product of the WWE as his wife's campaign and therefore the WWE and its fans are suffering as a result.
