TNA 'Genesis' 2011 PPV Discussion Thread!

Pretty strong card overall.

The only match I'm not expecting to be 3 stars or better is Ray vs Devon which tbh I'm expecting to be a bit of bravado, out of the ring brawling, Ray on top until Devon comes back and gets the win.

Aside from that though I'm looking forward to what should hopefully be a strong, straight up "This is what we do and this is where we're at in 2011" wrestling PPV.

yeah but that doesnt matter the match will still be over its brother vs brother WWE had a chance to do this angle but never did in 2002 I think ti would have been better back then but hey a street fight out side the ring through the crowd that would be the best way to do it is the match going to be No DQ? I hope they dont have bubba cheat to win and continue it lol it should just be one match.

if AJ doesnt win it can set up 2 good angles AJ vs Immortal and also Williams vs Immortal for his TV belt he could have a few different matches out of it until someone in the stable finally beats him

Wow. That was really disappointing overall. Promised a lot but failed to deliver for the most part.

A big factor I noticed was every match bar the RVD/Matt and Anderson/Morgan ones followed the same linear structure more or less.

Start with one person dominating, stage a comeback and finish.

Anderson winning the title in the impromptu title match was a great twist though.


3/5 PPV overall, would have been 2.5 but a decent main event and twist helped it improve.

well only 4 out of 8 lol ill give the PPV a 2.5/5
bad cause the rumble will absoloutly swamp it as I said couple of weeks back if TNA keeps putting on better monthly PPV's than WWE ppl will start noticing I think they dropped the ball with the first of 2011
