It seems like next week they are going to give away a lot of matches that I thought for sure would be on the RR ppv. Especially the two gimmick matches on Smackdown.

I can see Del Rio as a possibility for a surprise Rumble winner and Christian winning would be awesome.

My money however would be on either John Cena or CM Punk to win the Royal Rumble match and facing one another at Mania, perhaps as a triple threat with Orton in the mix.

I personally don't feel that either should. A bit too early for them both. Morrison or Punk would be deserving first time winners.

I wouldn't be OVERLY surprised however if Del Rio/Mcintyre popped up as winners.

Would prefer holding off on Del Rio and the world title until 'Mania and have him win the MITB match.

It wont be punk hes already got an Angle yeah morrison might be ok but he already lost against Miz I dont know anyone but john cena lol would be good in my opinion Triple H return?

if HHH returns and wins the rumble instead of using the rumble to further establish ne of the younger stars wwe will be shooting themselves in the foot yet again imo it should be punk,morrison,or sheamus

yeah but you would think hunter would come back and come after sheamus for putting him otu so its probably unlikely

I can see HHH coming back in the Rumble after Shemaus has just cleared house. He shouldn't and in my view won't win it though.

Punk has an angle already that seemingly is geared towards a match with Cena at Wrestlemania. Punk winning the Rumble then Cena either picking up the title in Elimination Chamber or being involved in a triple threat with Orton is where I can see it going.


Based purely on a Punk rumble win being exciting and good and a first time deserving winner. Cena winning the rumble would be too obvious and boring.

Del Rio is a top pick too but in my world I kinda want to see a face win it as Sheamus won King of the Ring.
