Last month, I went ‘Beyond the Numbers’ with a look at all of the wrestling that was on television last year from World Wrestling Entertainment, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, and Ring of Honor. Instead of waiting an entire year to look back at the on screen contributions from these companies, I have decided to take a monthly look at the programming.

This column will be similar in structure to the weekly By the Numbers columns, but it will also mix in features from the different Beyond the Numbers columns. One change from the 2010 recap columns, I will be counting total matches instead of appearances.

Here is a look back at the first month of wrestling on television from WWE, TNA, and ROH and the pay per view offerings from WWE and TNA.

Even though the Raw Rumble match on January 31st had a similar structure to the Royal Rumble, I did not break down the individual times for the Raw match while I did break down their individual times for the pay per view.
