Impact Rating Disappoints, Sherri Martel, Jarrett Contest

Last Thursday's edition of TNA Impact scored a subpar 0.7 cable rating, with a 1.5 share. This is probably Impact's lowest rating in quite some time. Although, the two hours of The Ultimate Fighter that preceded Impact didn't fare too well either. The first hour did a 0.9 and the second hour did a 1.1 cable rating.

Sherri Martel is scheduled to appear in a vignette with Bobby Roode during next Thursday's edition of Impact in an attempt to offer him her managerial services. Its highly unlikely that she'll become his manager, this is simply a way to put Roode over by having all these managers in demand for him. This situation is similar to when Sting chose Samoa Joe as his tag team partner back in May instead of Lex Luger, Buff Bagwell and Rick Steiner. TNA had no intention of actually using the three former WCW stars, this was just a way to make Samoa Joe come of as a bigger deal. Also, Sherri came out during the Impact tapings to wave to the crowd.

2 of my favorite things in wrestling are LAX and Alex Shelley's crew, not to mention, Eric Young is fun to watch. If TNA wants bigger ratings, maybe they should push people we want to see. I'm tired of Jarrett, and I thought Sting was going to be putting people over.

Last thursdays impact was going head to head with the opening game between pittsburgh and miami. Just as you can see that ufc didnt do so well either.

Im really liking this roode storyline because it gives him an edgy look. Im very intrigued to see who he really chooses come bound for glory time.
