LAS VEGAS – On a night featuring nine stoppages in 11 fights, Pat Barry, T.J. Waldburger, Tim Elliott and Jared Papazian each earned $40,000 bonuses for their performances at Saturday's TUF 16 Finale event.

Barry earned the "Knockout of the Night" award, Waldburger won the "Submission of the Night" bonus, and Elliott and Papazian picked up "Fight of the Night" honors.

UFC officials announced the winners and bonus amounts following the event, which took place at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

The event's main card aired on FX following prelims on FUEL TV and Facebook.

Barry had a little trouble with Shane del Rosario in the first round when the bigger heavyweight was able to take things to the ground, where he looked for a submission finish. So Barry didn't waste any time in the second round. He landed a big left hand that wobbled del Rosario, then moved in for a big combination and, ultimately, a giant right hand that planted del Rosario to end the fight just 26 seconds into the second round.

Waldburger spoiled Nick Catone's first fight at welterweight in a big way. He dropped the New Jersey-based fighter with a right hand, then finished him with a triangle choke on the ground. Catone wasn't even able to tap before being put out with the tight finish.

Elliott and Papazian brought some bad blood into their card-opening flyweight fight. Papazian landed a knee to a downed Elliott in the first round, and after a lengthy recovery time for Elliott, he was allowed to continue – and went on to dominate Papazian with scores of 30-25, 30-25 and 20-26, including a point deduction for the illegal knee.

The TUF 16 Finale featured six KO or TKO stoppages and three submissions.
