'New Girl' Alum to Co-Star in Mandy Moore's ABC Comedy 'Pulling'

June Diane Raphael, who stars on Adult Swim's "NTSF:SD:SVU," will play one of the three female leads in the network's adaptation of the British series of the same name.

ABC has found its second dysfunctional woman.

June Diane Raphael, who had a scene-stealing role in Fox's New Girl and stars on Adult Swim's NTSF:SD:SVU, has been tapped to co-star in the network's adaptation of Pulling, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Based on the British series of the same name, Pulling tells the story of three dysfunctional women in their 30s living their lives the way they want, even if society tells them they should have it all figured out by this point.

Raphael will play Donna, a sharp woman who seems to have it all -- an editor gig at a publishing company and a loyal fiancé. But her promotion was actually a computer error, and her boyfriend bores her to death.

She'll co-star opposite Mandy Moore in the single-camera comedy from ABC Studios. Moore will play Louise, Donna's best friend.

Bad Teacher's Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky will pen the pilot and exec produce alongside Aaron Kaplan, British series creator Sharon Horgan and Dennis Kelly. Jason Moore will direct the pilot.

Repped by UTA, the Collective and Peikoff Law, Raphael's credits also include features Bride Wars, Zodiac and Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
