The fun fact spotlight this week is on none other than the Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla, Chris Jericho.

Jericho has done it all in professional wrestling, since debuting in October of 1990 at independent shows in Canada. He's wrestled in numerous countries, taken WCW and WWE by storm and has had matches with, and beaten, some of the best professional wrestlers to ever enter the squared circle.

While Jericho's extracurricular endeavors are well-documented, let's take a look at some facts you might not know about the WWE's beloved Chris Jericho.

Here we go, seven fun facts about Y2J.

1. He Wins a Ton of Titles



As mentioned in the opening slide, Jericho has wrestled all around the world. He's laced up boots in Mexico, Canada, Japan and even Germany, along with stints in ECW and WCW on American soil.

While his location changed frequently, one thing was consistent. He was always wearing a big shiny belt around his waist.

Chris Jericho has won over 30 championships in WWE, ECW and WCW alone.

He was the first ever Undisputed WWF Champion (which we'll discuss later), a six-time world champion, a record nine-time Intercontinental Champion and was the WWE's fourth Grand Slam Champion.

Jericho is great in the ring, which is pretty evident when you look at all the hardware in his trophy case.

2. He Was Moongoose McQueen



Most WWE fans know that Chris Jericho is the lead singer of his own metal band, Fozzy. What a lot of people don't know, however, is Jericho's lead-man alter ego from the band's early days.

The band started out as "Fozzy Osbourne" and played mostly covers, while claiming that the most influential metal bands in America stole all of their songs. While Jericho and his band mates tried to convince fans everywhere, Jericho did what any professional wrestler turned lead singer would do; he made up a new character.

Jericho's lead-man gimmick was named Moongoose McQueen and has claimed on numerous occasions to have no idea of who Chris Jericho actually is. Jericho, however, is a HUGE Fozzy fan.

Making up a rock and roll alter ego who claims to have no idea who your professional wrestler alter ego is? That's dedication.

3. He Beat Stone Cold and the Rock—On One Night



On a December night in 2001 Chris Jericho did something that would forever cement his name in professional wrestling greatness. He beat The Rock and Stone Cold...in the same night.

Jericho first fought The Rock for what was once the WCW Championship and beat him with his own finishing maneuver—The Rock Bottom. Jericho then got the 1-2-3 on Stone Cold, after a little help from a downed ref and Booker T, leading to Y2J becoming one of the few men ever to hold both titles at once.

While it may have taken some help from Mr. McMahon and Booker T, how many people can say they got a win over The Rock and Stone Cold on one night? Not many.

4. He's a Loser



Let me explain: He's one of the biggest names in the business, but his overall WWE record certainly doesn't show it.

While it's obviously not all about wins and losses in professional wrestling, you would think that a guy like Jericho would have a ton of wins since the WWF, "Got The F Out." He does have a lot of wins in the WWE, 171 to be exact, but he also has 234 losses.

According to the Pro Fight Database, Jericho's overall WWE record is 171-234-25, and he's gone just 3-7 in his last 10 official WWE matches.

His pay-per-view record is also surprising, going just 60-85-1 at major events.

Other fun stats:

He was 128-65-6 in WCW.

He was 49-0 in Smoky Mountain Wrestling.

He has just one "Dud" (a zero-star rating on Dave Meltzer's scale) match since his first rated match in 1996. It came in August of 2010 against The Great Khali.

5. He Was in MacGruber



MacGruber was a movie. Chris Jericho was in that movie. In case you somehow missed the blockbuster in theaters or your local movie store is still sold out, IMDB describes the movie like this:

Ex-special operative MacGruber is called back into action to take down his archenemy, Dieter Von Cunth, who's in possession of a nuclear warhead and bent on destroying Washington, D.C.

The movie has its amusing moments, but the highlight comes in the clip shown above. Jericho, as Frank Korver, has a little convo with the film's eponymous hero.

Jericho has also made an appearance in hit films such as Albino Farm and Android Apocalypse and TV series' like Aaron Stone and Z Rock.

6. He Sang Stevie Wonder with Peter Frampton—and Lost



In 2006, Simon Cowell brought another singing reality show to the American People, with Celebrity Duets. The show pit eight celebrities against each other, each singing with a different big name in music each week.

Chris Jericho was one of the eight contestants.

He took on Lea Thompson, the actress from Caroline in the City, Carly Patterson, a gymnast, Cheech Marin, Jai Rodriguez from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Hal Sparks, Lucy Lawless, who played Xena and Alfonso Ribeiro, also known as Carlton.

So, Jericho, the lead singer of a metal band, against a bunch of TV personalities and actors. He had to win right?

Wrong.

Jericho was the first man eliminated after singing just two songs. One with Lee Ann Womack and another (seen above) with Peter Frampton.

That's almost as bad as Dolly Parton losing a Dolly Parton look-a-like contest...which also happened.

7. He Owns a Business with Tim Tebow



It's not uncommon for WWE Superstars and professional athletes to get involved in a few business ventures during their careers. Chipper Jones, Derrick Brooks, Tim Tebow and Chris Jericho know that very well.

The fearsome foursome are all co-owners of D1 Tampa, a sports training facility in Tampa Bay, Florida. It appears that the four athletes are really just four figureheads for the gym, lending a little cash when they can and showing up to work out during big promotions to help boost the club's image.

Either way, a gym with Chris Jericho and Tim Tebow? Can't be that bad.

lol I remember watching a video from one of his shows and the crowd starting cheering Y2J and Jericho went off his head at them saying he is not Y2J.
