2000 - ECW held their Hardcore Heaven Pay-per-view in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which doubled as Lance Storm's final appearance for the company. The Rave, (which was also hosting a concert at the same time) had a power outage during the PPV at one point, with the action continuing for a few moments with only spotlights and cameras (operating from a separate power supply) working.

In a dark match, Chilly Willy defeated Johnny Swinger.

During the opening angle, a beaten Tommy Dreamer staggered through the crowd, but with the fans looking at the ring, no one noticed, resulting on part of the show being rewritten on the fly, and a segment was added with Kintaro Kanemura choking out Joel Gertner to set up Cyrus doing commentary with Joey Styles.

Here is Tim Whitehead's PPV report:

I really enjoyed the ECW Hardcore Heaven PPV, 5/14 from the Rave in Milwaukee. It was a strong show throughout with a hot crowd and really no weak matches at all. It had its share of technical glitches. After the opening promo, Joey Styles & Joel Gertner were left standing in the middle of the ring with nothing to do, an obvious miscue of some sort. Styles later tried to cover for it by saying he had seen Tommy Dreamer staggering around all bloodied up, the victim of an assault by Justin Credible and it threw him off his game since he couldn't explain it since it was off camera. Later, the lights went out during the Little Guido vs. Mikey Whipwreck vs. Simon Diamond three way match, so they had to use searchlights to illuminate the ring. The main event somewhat couldn't follow the previous match and it was the one bout where the heat died at the end. But overall it was a very good show with everyone working hard and good commentary.

They did an angle early on to replace Gerter on commentary with Cyrus. Cyrus confronted Gertner and called him a fat, vulgar piece of crap and said people don't like his gimmick. Gertner removed his neck brace and acted like he would fight Cyrus but Kintaro Kanemura choked him out from behind. Knowing Kanemura, it's a good thing he didn't slash him up the arm with a spike or powerbomb him on a flaming ring. Oh, I forgot, Kanemura only does that to himself.

MASATO TANAKA defeated BALLS MAHONEY in 9:13. They traded mat spots before Balls took over with fists. Balls bumped out where Tanaka hit a pescado, but Balls caught him and dropped him on the rail. Tanaka hit Balls with a chair and then DDT'd him on the ramp. They ended up fighting in the ring with chairs and Tanaka took three chairshots, two of which were ultra-sick. Balls still only got a two count. He kicked a chair into Tanaka's face for another two. Tanaka scored twos with a Tornado DDT on some chairs and the Diamond Dust. Balls hit the Nutcracker Sweet on the chairs for a two. Balls missed the New Jersey Jam and Tanaka caught him with a roaring elbow for a near fall. Tanaka then pinned Balls with a second roaring elbow after a chairshot. They shook hands afterward. Great opener with tremendous heat.

Lance Storm cut a promo on Justin Credible and went off on him for discarding the ECW Tag Titles they co-held. He said Credible had always had people protecting him and mentioned "Kev & Scott" in the WWF (from when Credible was a prelim guy there a few years ago under a mask as Aldo Montoya).

LITTLE GUIDO beat MIKEY WHIPWRECK and SIMON DIAMOND in a three-way match in 7:07. There were plenty of people at ringside here. Mikey had the Sinister Minister, Guido had Big Sal, and Diamond has his entourage of kooks. They started with a good series of spots where they blocked some moves and hit others. Mikey dropkicked the hell (no pun intended) out of Diamond. They messed up a corner spot but quickly recovered and Diamond suplexed Mikey, but Guido plastered Diamond from behind for a near fall. Mikey hit a guillotine legdrop on Guido. Diamond threw a chair in Mikey's face. Then the lights went out and they had to use a searchlight for the rest of the match. Mikey and Diamond each did dives out onto the whole gang. Mikey pinned Diamond with the Whippersnapper at 5:33. Mikey then did a great move which was sort of a powerbomb attempt dropped into a DDT (if you can picture that) but Guido kicked out at two for a big pop. Sal slugged Mikey and Guido hit a legsweep and got two. Guido dived off Sal's shoulders but Mikey rolled clear. Mikey threw a fireball at Sal, which missed by a mile but Sal sold it anyway. They were smart enough not to show this on replay. Guido then hit a Tomokaze (or whatever it's called when he does it) and got the pin. Pretty good match.

Justin Cedible did a promo with Francine doing some very nice things to a kendo stick in the background.

KID KASH beat C.W. ANDERSON in 5:59. Lou E. Dangerously came out with Elektra and said she has never had plastic surgery (silicon maybe?) and is more than just a pretty face, tits, and ass. He dared anyone in back to fight Elektra. Jazz came out and walloped Lou, Anderson, and Bill Wiles before stripping off Elektra's jacket to reveal a Mike Awesome T-shirt. The idea was to have an Awesome shirt ripped off of a heel but it may not have quite come off that way. Jazz continued to strip Elektra down to her extremely skimpy outfit which had Jim Quigley salivating before the guys all piled of Jazz and she was beat up and had to be carted out. Kash arrived and made the save to officially start the match. Kash hit a plancha across the rail. He had Anderson reeling with chops and hit a spinning headscissors. Anderson came back with a powerbomb and fists. Wiles interfered. Anderson blocked a moonsault and hit a suplex for a near fall. He got another two with a powerslam. Lou tried to hit Kash with the cell phone but missed and busted it over Anderson's head. Kash won with a huracanrana off the top. Good match, and good to see a native of Johnson City, TN go over on PPV!

Rob Van Dam was taping up his injured leg and assured Bill Alfonso that he wasn't overconfident.

Styles tried to explain the dead air time at the beginning of the show by saying he had been distracted by the (imaginary) Credible assault on Dreamer. Cyrus said it proved why TNN should run the PPV's and also brought up that these productions may soon be a CBS/Viacom operation involving the WWF.

NOVA & CHRIS CHETTI beat ANGEL & DEVITO and DANNY DORING & AMISH ROADKILL in 6:34 in a three-way match. It was all action. Doring threw DeVito off the ramp. Nova hit some good flying moves. In fact, Nova and Chetti together did some great double spots. Roadkill did a double lariat on Angel & DeVito, but they came back and slammed Roadkill on two chairs. Grimes ran in with a guitar and somehow in the melee Angel got it and walloped Doring with it to eliminate that team at 4:16 with a pin. Before leaving, Roadkill put Grimes (who nearly broke his back on the stairs bumping off the ramp) through a table. The remaining teams brawled until Nova & Chetti pinned DeVito with the Tidal Wave. Angel & DeVito attacked Nova & Chetti afterward, but as expected New Jack arrived with the cartload of weapons for the save. He juiced DeVito big time with the staple gun as Nova & Chetti subdued Angel. New Jack brawled through the crowd with DeVito, with New Jack doing his regular PPV insane spot by diving off the balcony and putting DeVito through a table. He was okay afterward and returned to the ring to "officially" begin his match with Angel.

NEW JACK beat ANGEL in 0:45. Nova & Chetti held Angel as Jack busted a guitar over his head. He then hit him with a chair off the top for the easy pin to reclaim his title as King of the Streets. Short, but combined with the DeVito brawl it was entertaining.

YOSHIHIRO TAJIRI beat STEVE CORINO in 10:23. Corino hurled racial insults at Tajiri until Tajiri kicked him to start the match. Corino hit an enzuigiri and a powerbomb. Tajiri hooked the tarantula hold. Corino juiced a major gusher after taking a brainbuster on the ramp. Corino was then hung upside down in the tree of woe, allowing the blood to flow down and puddle up on the mat for effect. Jack Victory interfered and Corino came back with a superkick. The commentators put over big that Corino was showing courage by continuing to fight so they obviously have babyface designs on him at some point. Tajiri threw a chair into Corino's face and kicked a table into him. Corino backdropped Tajiri through a table. Corino made a comeback and scored several near falls. Tajiri hooked the octopus hold and sprayed mist at Victory when he tried to break it up. Corino made yet another comeback but Tajiri put him through a table and got the pin. A very good match! Afterward, Kanemura attacked Tajiri but Dusty Rhodes made the save and laid out Kanemura, Corino, and Victory before Rhino ran in and destroyed Dusty.

RHINO beat SANDMAN in 6:23 to retain the TV Title. Sandman did his In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida entrance, meaning that even if that was his entrance song, and it was the album version, the song would still have time to play by the time Sandman got to the ring. Sandman juiced himself with a beer can before the match. Sandman went for a quick cane shot but missed and Rhino pounded him. They brawled on the floor and on the ramp. Rhino charged, Sandman ducked, and Rhino went through a table. Sandman piledrived Rhino on the remains of the table. Lori came out but Corino grabbed her. Sandman beat Corino up. Rhino nailed Sandman from behind and piledrived him on the ramp. In a scary looking spot, Rhino then put Lori through a table with a piledriver off the apron. He was then going to put her through another table in the ring but Sandman caned the hell out of him and went to rescue Lori but Rhino recovered and gored both Sandman and Lori through the table and got the pin. He said "Happy Mother's Day, you f****in' bitch," before leaving. A good brawl with some scary spots.

JERRY LYNN defeated ROB VAN DAM in 19:48. They opened with a great series of spots where they blocked and countered one another. Van Dam hit a spinkick and cartwheel press. Lynn hit a springboard dropkick and a slingshot somersault plancha. Van Dam hit a corkscrew guillotine legdrop but missed a moonsault when Lynn moved and he crashed to the floor. They returned to the ring for a series of near falls, including one after a great DDT from Lynn. Bill Alfonso tossed a chair in the ring. Lynn blocked the Van Daminator, threw the chair into Van Dam's face, and then legsweeped him on the chair for a near fall. Van Dam hit a solid superkick and a rolling senton for a two count. They traded chair spots and scored some more twos. Both ended up going through a table from a spot off the apron. Van Dam came off the apron again but Lynn moved and Van Dam plastered his friend, Scotty Anton. Alfonso held a chair in front on Lynn's face and he took a Van Daminator. Van Dam frog splashed a chair on Lynn, which hurt both men. There was a ref bump in here somewhere. Corino and Victory attacked Van Dam but Lynn, wanting a clean pin, aided Van Dam. This prompted Rhino to spear Lynn. Rhino also powerbombed Van Dam. Van Dam rebounded and sent Rhino out with kicks. During this altercation, Cyrus had left the broadcast table and went in. Van Dam laid him out with the Van Daminator. Lynn laid Alfonso out. Van Dam went to the top but Anton turned on him and shoved him off and he took a scary bump against the ramp. Styles sold it that Lynn didn't see this. Lynn hit a cradle piledriver but Van Dam kicked out, but Lynn got the pin on the second one. The run-ins at the end were excessive but it was a great match.

JUSTIN CREDIBLE defeated LANCE STORM to retain the ECW World Title in 12:27. This one just couldn't follow the lead-in match, but it was still okay. It had less crowd heat, though, then earlier matches and the heat totally died at the finale. This was scheduled as a three-way, also involving Tommy Dreamer, but Credible said he'd throw down the belt and vacate it and spit on it unless Dreamer was removed. Paul Heyman came out and caved in to his demands, which came off looking real bad to give in to such a demand. Heyman explained that Credible had him by the balls but using that logic any wrestler should be able to make similar demands on any PPV and it was totally against the Heyman character to be pushed around. Dreamer had to accept Heyman's decision, but did flip him off. They began brawling to start the match. Storm barely grazed Credible with a dropkick and he bumped off the apron. Storm hit a pescado but got caught with a cane shot and juiced. They traded a ton of chops. There was a "We Want Dreamer" chant. Storm scored a bunch of two counts off of moves such as a huracanrana and a Northern Lights suplex. Credible came back with some twos as well. Credible got put through a table on the ramp. Storm hooked a Boston Crab, but Francine clocked him with a high-heel shoe. Dawn Marie attacked Francine for the catfight spot. Credible hit the Tombstone Piledriver on Dawn. Once the catfight was over the heat died and even though they traded some near falls the crowd was dead. Credible won with a Tombstone ("That's Incredible"). This may be Storm's final ECW PPV as he may be WCW bound. Dreamer ran in afterward and caned Credible. Francine begged for forgiveness and Dreamer pretended to have sympathy but gave her a Spicolli Driver to send the fans home happy.

2002 - The WWF becomes a thing of the past as newly christened World Wrestling Entertainment announces their new name with the following press release:

World Wrestling Federation Entertainment Drops The "F" To Emphasize the "E" for Entertainment

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 14, 2002--

New Name And Logo Reflects International Growth Plans and Increasing Diversity of Entertainment Properties

To further capture a greater share of the global marketplace and to represent the growing diversity of its entertainment properties, World Wrestling Federation Entertainment today announced it is changing its name to World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (WWE).

The company's website, one of the most popular in the world, will now be found at WWE.com.

A new logo reflecting the name change was introduced on WWE's top-rated television show RAW(R) on TNN at 9 p.m. (ET) on May 6th.

"As World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, we have entertained millions of fans around the United States and around the globe," said Linda McMahon, CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment. "Our new name puts the emphasis on the "E" for entertainment, what our company does best. WWE provides us with a global identity that is distinct and unencumbered, which is critical to our U.S. and international growth plans."

Mrs. McMahon said the company began considering dropping the word "Federation" from its name when World Wildlife Fund (a/k/a World Wide Fund for Nature) prevailed in a recent court action in the United Kingdom. The court ruling prevents the World Wrestling Federation from the use of the logo it adopted in 1998 and the letters WWF in specified circumstances.

The "Fund" has indicated that although the two organizations are very different, there is the likelihood of confusion in the market place by virtue of the fact that both organizations use the letters WWF. The Fund has indicated that it does not want to have any association with the World Wrestling Federation.

"Therefore," said, Mrs. McMahon, "we will utilize this opportunity to position ourselves emphasizing the entertainment aspect of our company, and, at the same time, allay the concerns of the Fund."

Mrs. McMahon said the name change provides a distinct and unencumbered global identity that will further cast World Wrestling Entertainment as an integrated entertainment and media company. "World Wrestling Entertainment and WWE will now be the identity that we use from the television base we have established in 130 countries," she said. "As WWE, we will launch our further expanded U.S. and international touring, our international expansion of branded merchandise and licensed products, and our further integration into the film, publishing and music businesses."

The successful development of the "Tough Enough"(TM) television series on MTV, a new book deal with Simon and Schuster, and the hit motion picture, "The Scorpion King," executive produced by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and WWE, are examples of the types of activities the company plans to undertake as it expand its horizons in the global entertainment industry.

New logo art has been provided to business partners, licensees and vendors. The company expects that, for the most part, the changeover to the new name and logo will be completed within five months.

WWE will continue to trade as WWF on the New York Stock Exchange until a suitable replacement symbol is found. The company will be providing the appropriate documentation and filings with regulators to solicit shareholder approval of the name change.

In conjunction with the name change, WWE announced it has changed the name of its entertainment complex in New York City's Times Square from WWF New York to The World(R), currently the name of its popular night club.

World Wrestling Entertainment (NYSE:WWF) is an integrated media and entertainment company headquartered in Stamford, Conn., with offices in New York City, Chicago, Toronto and London. Additional information on the company can be found at wwe.com and wwecorpbiz.com. Information on television ratings and community activities can be found at wweparents.com.

2003 - NWA:TNA broadcast their weekly PPV from Nashville, TN. Buck Woodward filed the following PPV report:
NWA: Total Nonstop Action for May 14th opened with a recap of events from last week, when Glen Gilberti won the "Anarchy At The Asylum" match to become the number one contender to the NWA World Heavyweight Title.

Glen Gilberti, clad in a suit and tie, came to the ring with SEX. Fans chanted "Disco sucks". Gilberti talked about how he won Anarchy last week, and that he beat up Jeff Jarrett. Gilberti and Mike Sanders talked about Gilberti's suit. Gilberti said tonight he would top himself by taking over NWA:TNA. He said he had a list of people he planned to take out. Gilberti said Raven was at the top of his list. Gilberti said everyone in TNA had the choice of joining SEX, or being wiped out.

New Jack, Sandman, Saturn and Justin Credible came out on the runway. Jack told Gilberti to shut up, and made fun of his suit and nose. Some fans chanted "ECW". Gilberti said he wanted to talk to Sandman, and Sandman spit beer at him. The "Extreme Revolution" hit the ring and cleared out the SEX members.

Mike Tenay & Don West went over the card for tonight's show.

Goldylocks interviewed Chris Sabin about his X-Division Title match with Amazing Red. Jerry Lynn interrupted, saying that Sabin earned his match by "beating nobodies". Lynn said he had petitioned the office, and that the X-Division match was now a three way dance. Sabin said he didn't think that was a good idea, but Lynn was confident he would win.

Chris Sabin defeated Amazing Red & Jerry Lynn in 10:46 to win the X-Division Championship. All three men were in the ring at the same time for this match. XXX (Christopher Daniels, Low Ki, Elix Skipper) came out to ringside and watched the match. Lot's of nice three way spots in this one. At one point, Red broke up a Lynn cover with a Swanton, and some fans chanted "That was three". Towards the end, Lynn hit the cradle piledriver on Sabin, but Red broke up the pin. Lynn and Red slugged it out, and Red hit a sunset flip style powerbomb for a two count. Red went to the top rope, while Low Ki distracted the referee. Daniels beat up Lynn on the floor, while Skipper shoved Red off the top rope and gave him the Play of the Day. Sabin was put on top of Red, and got the pin. After the match, XXX gave Sabin a SEX shirt, which he put on.

Goldylocks was in the back with Extreme Revolution, where everyone was arguing over how to handle SEX. Sandman was considering Gilberti's offer to go see what he had to say, and New Jack, Credible and Saturn didn't like it.

In the SEX locker room, they were celebrating Sabin's win, and motivating Mike Sanders to beat Mike Awesome. Gilberti also dispatched the Harris Brothers to find Sabu. Kid Kash came in and said he had no problem with SEX, and didn't want to be on Gilberti's list. Kash said he had a "peace offering", and gave them Trinity. Sanders kept asking if Trinity performed a certain sex act. Kash left Trinity in the SEX locker room, and walked off.

Mike Sanders defeated Mike Awesome in a tables match in 5:22. They brawled from the ring and through the crowd for three minutes, then the Harris Brothers attacked Awesome. Brian Lee & Slash came out and fought the Harrises out of the building, where XXX was waiting to ambush Slash and Lee. Back at ringside, Awesome was still fighting Sanders. Awesome brought a table into the ring, but Sanders threw it at Awesome. Sanders put Awesome on the table and went to the top rope. Awesome crotched Sanders on the ropes, and set up a table on the floor. Awesome teased that he was going to Awesomebomb Sanders from the top rope to the floor, but Glen Gilberti ran out, hit Awesome with a chair twice, and sent him backwards into the ring, through the table, giving Sanders the win.

Goldylocks interviewed Chris Harris. Harris was angry over the problems with his tag team with James Storm. He blamed it on finger pointing, and people making accusations. Harris said he was taking on David Young tonight because he got involved in America's Most Wanted business last week in the Asylum match.

In the SEX locker room, Trinity was being ordered to give Skipper a backrub. Gilberti cleared the locker room, except for Trinity. Erik Watts barged in, and said he had a problem with Gilberti over what he did to Jeff Jarrett. Gilberti said he knew Watts hated Jeff Jarrett, and wasn't buying his act. Watts dropped the charade, then told Gilberti that "the Eric from WCW" was coming in to be the director of operations for the NWA, and that this was the Eric that was "DDP's best friend". Watts left. Gilberti apologized for the way SEX was acting before to Trinity. Gilberti offered Trinity a spot in SEX, rather than staying with Kash. Trinity left, then the Harris Brothers, saying they could not find Sabu, brought in Alexis Laree and Julio Dinero.

Kid Kash came to the ring, complaining about Trinity, the masked Luchador, and the fans. Kash called out Ron Killings, Konnan and the masked Luchador. Ron Killings, with Konnan, came out for the match.

Ron Killings defeated Kid Kash in 9:06. Konnan joined the announcers for the match. Konnan said he knew nothing about the masked luchador, and pointed out that it looked like a woman last week. Killings kicked Kash in the face, drawing blood from his mouth. At one point, Kash dove off the steps, and Killings caught him and powerslammed him to the floor. Konnan actually did a great job announcing here, analyzing the match rather than complaining about the lack of Latinos in the company. At the seven minute mark, the Harris brothers ran out and attacked Konnan. Killings hit a second rope fallaway slam, then went to the top rope and dove onto the Harris brothers. The Harrises double teamed Killings on the floor though, and rolled him back into the ring. The masked luchador ran out, and hit a reverse DDT on Kash, while the referee was looking at the Harris brothers. Killings got the pin, then helped Konnan to the back.

Backstage, Sandman went for his meeting with Gilberti, but Sonny Siaki was there instead. Siaki offered Sandman some beer, and he agreed to talk with him. Desire sat on Sandman's lap. David Young ran over the blindside Sandman, but Sandman threw Desire into his attempted cane shot. Sandman then attacked Siaki, chasing him into the arena. Sandman blasted Siaki through the balcony and down the stairs. Bert Prentice and a bunch of security ran out, and tried to get them to take their battle into the ring. Once there, Sandman hit the Russian legsweep with the cane, then blasted Siaki with a caneshot. SEX ran in and attacked the Sandman. The Harris Brothers hit an H-Bomb on Sandman, and New Jack, Justin Credible and Perry Saturn ran in. A huge brawl broke out, with tons of security hitting the ring. Perry Saturn took the mic, and challenged Glen Gilberti to face him one-on-one tonight. Gilberti accepted the challenge.

They aired a pre-taped interview with Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett said he had strained knee ligaments and a hip pointer from the Raven match. He talked about how WWE's numbers have gone south since WCW was bought because there was no "number two" to motivate Vince McMahon to work hard. Jarrett said he was not surprised that Glen Gilberti has become the number one contender. Jarrett compared Gilberti emerging from his Disco persona to Stone Cold coming from Stunning Steve Austin and the Undertaker coming from Mean Mark Callous.

Backstage, Kid Kash was flipping out over his loss. Tracy approached Kash, and told him that she liked it rough (Kash piledrove her last week). Tracy played up to Kash, putting lotion on her hand and (out of view of the camera) apparently rubbing his groin. Tracy then gave Kash a low blow, and stomped him, leaving him laying.

Chris Harris defeated David Young with the Catatonic in 11:45. Sonny Siaki came out at the three minute mark to support Young, and pulled down the top rope so Harris would fall to the floor, allowing Young to take over. Harris rallied, but Siaki ran in when the referee was looking at Young and hit Harris with the Siakolypse. Harris kicked out at two. Siaki came in with a chair, and wedged it in a corner. James Storm ran in and superkicked Siaki from the ring, then fought him through the crowd. SEX came out of their locker room and dragged Storm into it. Back in the ring, Harris continued to fight Young. Young missed a moonsault and Harris hit the Catatonic for the win.

After the match, Harris was looking for Storm, with the announcers and fans telling him that Storm was at the SEX locker room. Harris ran for the locker room, as SEX tossed a bloody Storm out the door. Harris attended to Storm, yelling for help.

Glen Gilberti was shown talking to Alexis Laree and Julio Dinero. Gilberti pointed out that Raven wasn't there for them tonight, and that he wouldn't be around for much longer. Gilberti said they could be a part of SEX, if they watched his back tonight. They agreed to accompany him to the ring for his match.

Glen Gilberti defeated Perry Saturn in 6:30. Some fans were chanting "We Want Raven" audibly during the opening moments of the match. They announced during the bout that Chris Harris had taken James Storm to the hospital. Alexis tried to jump Saturn on the floor, but Saturn caught her and tossed her into the rail. However, Dinero hit a superkick to allow Gilberti to take control. Back in the ring, Gilberti worked over Saturn's knee, but missed a fistdrop. Saturn, hobbling on one leg, hit two German suplexes, and a falcon arrow for a two count. Gilberti went for a stunner, but Saturn shoved him off, into the referee. Alexis and Julio ran in, but Saturn fought them off. This allowed Gilberti to hit a slow stunner, but Saturn still kicked out at two. Gilberti went for another stunner, but Saturn reversed into a backslide for two. Gilberti finally caught the second stunner, and got the pin.

Goldylocks interviewed D'Lo Brown and AJ Styles. Brown pointed out that SEX was taking out everyone tonight, but that he and Styles were not going down. Both men stressed that TNA was their home, and that they would not allow SEX to take over.

Don West & Mike Tenay discussed the upcoming "Genesis" retrospective event coming up on Pay-per-view.

NWA World Tag Team Champions XXX defeated AJ Styles & D'Lo Brown in 8:52. All three members of XXX came out together in their gear, not letting on which two would be wrestling. Daniels & Skipper attacked before the bell, so they would be the two defending champions tonight. Styles & Brown quickly turned things in their favor though. Brown and Styles made frequent tags in the opening minutes, working over Daniels with double team moves. Daniels tried to whip Styles towards Skipper, and Styles dropkicked Skipper. Daniels did get control with a dropkick of his own, and tossed Styles on the floor to be attacked by Skipper and Low Ki. XXX then kept Styles in the ring and worked him over, often tossing him to the floor so Low Ki could blast him. Styles blocked a rana and powerbombed Daniels, and gave the hot tag to D'Lo. Brown cleaned house on Daniels and Skipper. Brown hit a spinning sideslam on Daniels and a suplex into a stunner on Skipper, but the pin attempts were always blocked be another member. Styles and Brown set Daniels up for the Sky High/neckbreaker, but Low Ki pulled Styles from the ring, and Daniels put Brown in the Koji clutch. Styles eventually got in to break the hold. Brown backdropped out of Angel's Wings, and Styles tagged in with a springboard dropkick. Styles kicked Daniels to the floor, and Brown backdropped Styles over the top rope into a senton on Daniels and Low Ki. Brown tossed Skipper to the floor as well. Brown then hit a top rope bodypress from the top rope to the floor on Skipper. In the ring, Styles and Daniels went into a great exchange of reversals, ending with Styles hitting a reverse DDT. Styles set up Daniels for the Styles Clash, but Glen Gilberti ran in. Gilberti hit a weak looking stunner on Styles, allowing Daniels to get the pin.

SEX came into the ring, and Gilberti said that they were taking over the Asylum. SEX attacked Brown and Styles, then moved into the locker room and began attacking wrestlers and staff in the back, most notably Jerry Lynn, Red, Bill Behrens and Mortimer Plumtree. The New Church (Awesome, Slash, Lee) went against SEX, but were outnumbered. Gilberti sat in the back with a cigar, watching SEX beat everyone down, and said "I'm the king of the world" as the show ended.

2007 - Shawn Michaels vs. Edge headlined WWE Raw. The episode scored a 3.6 cable rating, with a 5.6 share. The show did hours of 3.5 and 3.7. Ed Sherriffs filed the following TV Report:

The May 14th edition of Monday Night RAW comes to us from Hampton, Virginia. It follows a show that saw The Great Khali steal John Cena's WWE Championship belt while the champ was wrestling Randy Orton, but more importantly, Edge took Money in the Bank from Ken Kennedy after he goaded then assaulted him. Edge used that to win the World Heavyweight Title from Undertaker on last week's Smackdown.

John Cena opens the show by walking out without his WWE Championship belt. Cena says he was announced as the WWE Champion, but he has no title. Cena says Khali left with the belt and he couldn't stop him. Cena says it wasn't the first time he was humiliated, as every week one group tells him he sucks. But he has pride for the business and championship, and it was just taken. He's been face to face with the baddest human beings on the planet, but it's like Khali isn't even human. He can hit him with his best shot to no effect. Cena's voice is breaking a bit like he's on the verge of tears. Khali has never been pinned or submitted. He's erased everyone that's stepped in his way (except Taker) and he can do what he wants, when he wants. Cena's friends are telling him Judgment Day is a bad idea (shoot?). It will be his execution. Cena wants to tell them they are wrong. Cena says if he is in the right frame of mind, he can be a one man wrecking crew. That means Khali has signed up for the fight of his life. And not Judgment Day....Cena wants his belt back right now.

Khali is in the back with the title. He has a new translator. Khali says (through the translator) that no one has brought as much destruction as Khali has in the last few weeks. Replays of his devastation are shown. Was that kid crying because he felt bad for HBK or because Khali was wrestling? Khali says that he will become the new WWE Champion on Sunday. He then does Cena's "You Want Some, Come Get Some" hand motion. He also said it in his own language.

Cena walks to the back. He meets Khali with some punches, but is swatted down. Khali throws a trash can at Cena, then tosses him around. Two handed chokeslam onto one of the carts. He then slams Cena into the door of the loading dock and leaves the champ gasping for air. Commercial.

Jeff Hardy w/ Matt Hardy vs. Trevor Murdoch w/ Lance Cade

Lock up to start. Murdoch powers Hardy into the corner, but does a clean break. Side headlock takedown by Hardy. Murdoch and Hardy trade armdrags. Standoff after some missed clotheslines. Not exactly Malenko-Guerrero, but it's an interesting change. Murdoch with a shoulderblock and elbow drop for two. Hardy dumps Murdoch onto the apron then punches him off. Hardy dives over the top ropes to the floor. Hardy kicks Murdoch into the corner with a mule kick. 4 punches in the corner, but Cade dodges an attempted dropkick. Murdoch covers for two. Another cover gets a near fall. Murdoch with a chinlock. Jawbreaker by Hardy. Hardy with an elbow. Whisper in the Wind connects and gets two. Hardy goes to the top, but Murdoch stops him. Hardy shoves Murdoch off, but Murdoch gets his knees up to block the Swanton for two. Murdoch is in disbelief, and stalls before going for his next move. Hardy takes advantage with a small package and pins Murdoch.

Your winner, Jeff Hardy!

2008 - Ring of Honor announced they would make their Canadian debut in July 2008 in Toronto at the Ted Reeves Arena. The promotion also officially announced that Jay Briscoe vacated the ROH Tag Team championships after the Hammerstein event because after seeing his brother Mark interfere and help Briscoe and Austin Aries retain the belts, he "realized that it felt wrong to be defending the belts without Mark as his partner", so they were vacating them but would come back to regain them when Mark returned from injury.

2009 - In an interview with Alex Marvez, the retired Ric Flair talked of wanting to return to the ring, only a little more than a year after his retirement at Wrestlemania 24. Flair commented, "I love the business. I was thinking the other day about the reason why God gave me this health. I don't hurt anywhere. I haven't lost any strength. I'm just like I was 10 years ago. I keep thinking, 'Why am I signing autographs when I can still take backdrops?' But I respect Shawn and (WWE) so much that I wouldn't do anything to disrespect them. They would have to give me full approval (to wrestle again). They put me in a special place. I think it's going to be a long time before we see something come across again like what they did for me (with the retirement ceremony). I didn't think it would be that big a deal. We'll see how this turns out." As it turned out, Flair returned to the ring during a tour of Australia under the Hulkamania banner before debuting for TNA towards the end of the year. He is still wrestling.
