It wasn't what they could do years ago as age and injury has really caught up to Jannetty but they did as much as they could. Weird to see Jannetty working heel. Funk can still whip out some awesome aerial moves and is in great shape. How he isn't in a more prominent role in the business blows my mind.

Entertaining match with some really great sequences and a lot of hard work. One thing I give PWS credit for is trying to create characters and do stuff with their trainees. Lifeguard was a really fun gimmick.

Pat Buck, who is also one of the promoters, noted that he broke his nose and apologized for any blood and how he looked. He said that he doesn't like when promoters put themselves over and he doesn't wrestle a lot on his shows because of it. He then said they were very happy to be in NYC. He then announced that Doc and D'Lo Brown were advertised to be here but weren't because they took another booking that was closer and didn't want to make the drive. A lot better than I expected going in. Steiner worked really hard here and so did Smith. Steiner absolutely had the biggest "star aura" of anyone on the show as kids were running to him as he came out and he'd spook them by being his crazy self. Very good and entertaining.
