FIFA agent Ernesto Bronzetti has claimed that Juventus are close to securing a deal for Real Madrid forward Gonzalo Higuain.

The Bianconeri have been heavily linked with a move for the Blancos forward in recent months, and the agent has insisted that a deal is more likely than not.

“There is a 50, 60 or even 70 per cent chance of him joining Juventus,” Bronzetti told Sky Sport Italia.

“I am certain he will leave because he has expressly asked.

“Madrid will certainly go on to replace him, for his age and technical value.

“[Director general Beppe] Marotta, [sporting director Fabio] Paratici and [Coach Antonio] Conte came to Madrid, we have talked, they are talking about it, we shall see.”

Another rumour is that Madrid will move for Napoli’s Edinson Cavani.

“Madrid have not done a deal for Cavani, they are simply monitoring his situation, nothing else.

“My opinion? A feeling, I believe that in the end the boy will stay where he is.”
