After a minor slump, Frankie Saenz is feeling good since taking the KOTC flyweight championship last month. With the gold around his waist, Saenz is looking to land on a larger platform in the future.
"The more wins I stack up, the more experience I get and I should be ready for those big shows soon," said Saenz to MMA Weekly. "Until then, I've just got to keep defending this title and do the best that I can."

Saenz started his career with four straight wins, which were met with back-to-back losses. He's won his last two, including a second round submission over Marvin Garcia to capture the belt.

There is no return date set for the Arizona native.
