Impact on Thursday, May 15 officially scored a 0.86 rating off a first hour 0.97 rating and 0.75 second hour rating.

The second hour declined 23 percent from the first hour, topping a 21 percent decline on April 24 for sharpest decline of the year.

Included was an historically low 0.69 rating in Q8 for Eric Young's latest last-minute TNA World Title defense on television, this time against MVP.

Impact Break Down

Q1: Impact opened with a show-high 1.03 rating following the "Cops" lead-in. This was the only quarter-hour above a 1.0. The segment included Eric Young going after MVP following MVP's heel turn the previous week and one commercial.

Q2: Impact began a precipitous decline with a 0.96 rating for Jeff Hardy/Willow against Magnus and Bram in a handicap match, plus one commercial.

Q3: Impact slipped to a 0.92 rating for a Beautiful People segment setting up Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky, plus one commercial.

Q4: Impact increased to a 0.98 rating for Crazy Steve vs. Kazarian, one commercial, and EY and MVP fighting before and after the commercial. It appeared there was interest in EY-MVP physicality, but that was enough for viewers this week.

Q5: Impact fell to a 0.81 rating for the end of the MVP-EY brawl, an early commercial at the top of the hour, and Mr. Anderson vs. James Storm.

Q6: Impact continued its decline with a 0.76 rating for Sanada vs. Tigre Uno vs. D.J. Zema in an unhyped X Title match, plus one commercial.

Q7: Impact dipped again to a 0.72 rating for two commercial breaks and the conclusion of the Bully Ray-Dixie Carter home invasion segments.

Q8: Impact slipped again to a show-low 0.69 rating for EY vs. MVP for the TNA Title that TNA has turned into the equivalent of a TV Title, plus one commercial.
