WWE has moved The Great Khali to the Alumni section of WWE.com. They haven’t made an announcement so we don’t know for sure but that could mean that he has been released or he simply chose to retire. Hopefully we will know more by tonight or tomorrow.
Khali is also not on the current European tour. Khali has been wrestling since 2000 and was signed to WWE in 2006. His first feud in the company was with The Undertaker. Khali’s knees and back have been an issue for him so I would not be surprise if he simply decided to hang up the boots. He opened up a wrestling school in India in 2011 and is a big star in that country and has talked about taking acting roles so he should not have any trouble transitioning into another career after WWE if that’s what he chooses to do.
