Default Update on WWE asking fans at RAW to take off classic Superstar costumes

WWE asked a group of nine fans sitting in the first row at the Raw taping this past Monday to remove the 1980s-1990s era WWE character costumes they wore or be moved to different seats.

The story has picked up steam online over the last 24 hours with one of the fans in question posting a letter online to WWE asking for an explanation and outlets such as FOX Sports picking up the story.

A WWE source said today that the company has apologized to the fans for their inconvenience and has offered them tickets to the next WWE event in the Des Moines, Iowa market.

I agree, I don't understand why they just did not make a big deal of it, I think people at home watching would have loved it. I do not see how a few people dressed up as classic wrestlers would take attention away from people in the ring when the camera is aimed that way.
