All Japan held a press conference featuring Xceed as well as announced the Voodoo Murders will be competing in October.

Xceed, Yohei Nakajima, Kotaro Suzuki, Go Shiozaki, and Kento Miyahara (as pictured a the top), took part in a press conference following their strong showing August as they hold the majority of the All Japan belts. Yohei capturing the vacant GAORA TV belt earlier in the month and Kotaro, Kento, and Shiozaki all successfully defending their respected belts on 8/29.
Shiozaki stated that he is focused on the upcoming “Oudou Tournament” and his match in the opening round against Jun Akiyama. Shiozaki has met defeat several times by the hand of Akiyama and that is something Shiozaki does not want to meet again as he aims to overcome the veteran. Shiozaki also called for an Xceed final as he wants the possibility of meeting his partner Miyahara in the final. As he knows that will be the best match that the two could possibly have.
Yohei, who finally claimed his first belt in All Japan, stated that his persistence has paid off as he know holds a singles belt that he can call his own. He stated that he is confident that he can be fighting champion and aims to carry the belt for a long time to come.
Kotaro stated that his confidence is at an all-time high as he overcame Ultimo Dragon. He is confident in his abilities and power and this time and hopes it is reflected well upon All Japan.
Miyahara said that it is a great feeling to have defended the World Tag belts against the team of Akiyama and Omori and that it was exactly the match that he had expected. Miyahara stated that the dawn of a new age is indeed upon All Japan and that he hopes to be able to be apart of the change.

Then following a surprise appearance via video at the Korakuen show on August 29th, it was announced that the Voodoo Murders, TARU & YASSHI, would make a return to the promotion to compete on October 4th. It was stated that Suwama originally made the open invitation to them and they have accepted the offer.
