It looks like UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman is starting to make serious plans about a potential super fight with former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones.

Weidman spoke about a potential super fight with “Bones” during a recent impromptu Periscope session.

“I’ve got to focus on Luke, and the winner of ‘Jacare’ [vs.] Romero. And then after that, we’ll start talking about Jon Jones, and 205, and anyone who is good, up there, said Weidman.

Weidman elaborated, explaining that his future is inevitably at 205 pounds.

“I’m going to say that my future does eventually take me to 205. Not because of weight cutting at middleweight, but just because I think I’m running out of guys to beat at middleweight,” said the confident fighter.

“Some of the tougher challenges are probably going to be done, soon.”
