A special singles match has been announced to take place during IGF's big end of the year show. As Daichi Hashimoto and Naoya Ogawa will be competing a singles match in honor of Daichi's late father Shinya Hashimoto. This will mark the first time ever that Daichi will meet his father's rival in singles competition.

Ogawa stated that he is currently suffering from a knee injury, but that he knows the importance of this match in many different ways. Ogawa took a shot at Daichi by stating that Shinya wouldn't be too pleased if he could see his son competing, but Daichi fired back by mentioning that Ogawa's Hustle run wasn't exactly a crowning achievement. There is definitely heat between the two as Ogawa looks to rekindle an old flame and Daichi ever looking to claim some much needed experience in the ring.
