Following Sugiura’s betrayal, President Akira Taue formally announced that all factions within NOAH are to be no more as of 2016. This includes BRAVE, NO MERCY, and Chokibogun. He also made it known that Sugiura has been dismissed from his position as a chairman, talent relations, within NOAH. The position is currently open and Taue is open to any of the younger talent accepting the position.

Taue then formally announced that he has accepted Katsuhiko Nakajima’s offer to finally join NOAH as of January 1st. Taue had nothing but strong words for Nakajima as he noted him as a strong pillar from outside of the promotion. Nakajima stated that he has finally found himself after overcoming Shelton Bejamin at Destiny and hopes to become even stronger within NOAH. Vice President Marufuji stated that this has been a long day coming as Nakajima has been loyal to NOAH for many years now. That even though he did not get his start in NOAH he has always had a home here due to his hard work and dedication throughout the recent years. Nakajima stated that his goal as of right now is to bring the GHC Tag belts, with his current tag partner Yone, back home to NOAH.

Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Go Shiozaki then took part in the press conference as both have been announced to be competing in the January tour. Both men are still freelance following their leave from All Japan and this will mark the first time Kanemaru has competed in NOAH in 3 years.

Shiozaki has stated his intentions to once more join NOAH, but first seeks the approval of Marufuji, which Maru rejected at Destiny. Shiozaki stated that his feelings do not change and that he knows that he will have to prove himself. Shiozaki stated that he will do just that in his upcoming match against Minoru Suzuki on 1/31. Kanemaru though has already made his intentions clear in competing as a freelance wrestler throughout 2016, but looks to rekindle a former passion of competing in the green ring. Shiozaki and Kanemaru have been placed together as a team throughout the first tour of the new year.
