WWE RAW Results - 8th Feb, 2016 2015

We begin this week's Raw with a look at a video package for Daniel Bryan, who will be making a major announcement later tonight about his wrestling career in the WWE. We see the tweet about him announcing his retirement tonight.


Stephanie McMahon is in the ring and there is black carpet and a contract signing table. Stephanie welcomes us to Raw. She says we are moments away from the official contract signing for the main event of Fastlane where the winner will face her husband, Triple H at Wrestlemania.

Stephanie has to stop due to the Daniel Bryan chants. Stephanie says the people of Seattle are confused because the winner of the main event of Fastlane will face her husband, the Game, the Cerebral Assassin, the fourteen time WWE Champion Triple H.

Only the WWE has the lunatic fringe versus the Roman Empire versus The Beast Incarnate. It will be Dean Ambrose versus Roman Reigns versus Brock Lesnar.

Dean Ambrose thinks that Stephanie is the Miz so his music interrupts Stephanie.

Dean asks if we could cut to the chase and get this contract signing over with because he has some unfinished business with that gorilla Brock Lesnar.

Stephanie says that Dean does not tell her what to do. She says that there will be no physicality.

Roman Reigns' music interrupts Stephanie as well and he makes his way to the ring.

Roman says it is time to sign on the dotted line so his friend can punch Brock Lesnar.

Stephanie points out how Roman always steals Dean's spotlight. Stephanie is actually able to introduce Brock without any interruption.

Brock does the Brock Bounce on the stage and then he makes his way to the ring with Paul Heyman.

Paul introduces himself and his client as they stand on the other side of the table from Dean and Roman, but Stephanie jumps in on the interruption train and stops Paul from doing the full introduction for himself and his client.

Dean signs the contract first. He is followed by Roman who signs it just as fast. Brock signs the contract so the contract signing is over and Stephanie leaves the ring.

Paul tells little brother to ask big brother Samoan badass the difference between a beat down by the Authority and an authoritative beat down at the hands of BROCK LESNAR.

Brock tells Dean or Roman to bring it and Paul leaves the ring.

Dean walks around the table and he bumps Brock and then Brock throws Ambrose over the table. Brock throws the table at Reigns and then he hits an F-5 on Ambrose.

Triple H comes out and Stephanie claps next to him while Paul and Brock stand on the ramp.

Michael Cole talks about how emotional today is and he mentions Daniel Bryan's tweet about his retirement.

We see comments from his wife Brie Bella about the next step in their career.

Backstage:
Dean and Roman walk in the back and Dean screams. He swears to God that before this night is over, he is going to get Brock Lesnar. Roman nods in agreement.


Kevin Owens vs Dolph Ziggler

Owens with a forearm and he sends Ziggler into the turnbuckles. Owens with a cannonball for a near fall. Owens kicks Ziggler and sends him into the turnbuckles. Owens with a crossface in the ropes. Owens punches Ziggler and Owens taunts him. Owens tells Cole to shut up. Owens with more forearms to Ziggler followed by a kick to the ribs. Owens stands on Ziggler's chest and the referee warns him. Ziggler with a rollup for a near fall.

Owens with a forearm to Ziggler. Owens punches Ziggler in the face and he tells Ziggler that everything is funnier than him. Owens with a hard Irish whip and Owens bows. Owens gets a near fall. Ziggler escapes a slam and he applies a sleeper on Owens. Owens backs Ziggler into the turnbuckles but Ziggler holds on. Owens tries again and Ziggler holds on. Owens goes through the ropes to the floor and Ziggler releases the hold.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Owens with a reverse chin lock. Ziggler with a jawbreaker and elbow to Owens. Owens with a back elbow of his own. Owens with a back senton for a near fall. Owens runs into a boot. Owens with a punch and Irish whip but Owens misses a charge into the corner and hits the ring post. Owens with two flying clotheslines followed by a splash into the corner and neck breaker. Ziggler with a leaping elbow drop for a near fall.

Ziggler tries for the hesitation DDT but Owens pushes him away and Owens with a super kick for a near fall. Owens tries for the pop up power bomb but Ziggler leaps over Owens. Owens with a rollup for a near fall. Ziggler hits the hesitation DDT and Owens hangs over the apron while Ziggler falls to the floor. Ziggler with a Fameasser to the floor. The referee gets to nine and Owens gets back into the ring. Ziggler regenerates and pops into the ring before ten.

Ziggler misses a splash into the corner and Owens tries for the cannonball but Ziggler moves and Ziggler with a rollup and the ropes for the three count.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

After the match
Owens argues with the referee.

Owens attacks the announce table and throws JBL's hat and destroys some other things on the announce table. Owens destroys the ring steps.


We are told that the New Day will face the Usos in a Tables Match. We are also told that Chris Jericho will be on MizTV.

We see footage of Daniel Bryan at Night of Champions 2010 when he defeated Miz to become the US Champion.

Backstage:
We are back and Jimmy Uso says he has things taken care of with their face paint. The Dudleys enter and get Jimmy and Jey confused. D-Von asks about the table match against the New Day. D-Von says if anyone deserves a table match against The New Day, it should be them. They have a history of tables matches. The Usos say it is their match tonight. Bubba says being a tables match makes it their match. Since neither team likes the New Day, why not do the Usos and Dudleys against the New Day in a Tables Match. They agree to the match.


Michael Cole mentions that Bray Wyatt will be facing Ryback. We have a video package on Ryback.

Non Title Match
Charlotte (c) (with Ric Flair) vs Alicia Fox

They lock up and Charlotte with a side head lock. Charlotte with a drop kick and kip up. Alicia with a waist lock but Charlotte with a drop toe hold and she goes for the figure four leg lock but Alicia kicks her away. Alicia with a drop kick and Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Alicia misses a splash into the corner and Charlotte with a neck breaker for a near fall. Alicia with a sunset flip out of the corner for a near fall.

Charlotte with a kick to Alicia and Charlotte addresses the crowd before getting a near fall. Charlotte sends Alicia face first into the mat. Charlotte chokes Fox in the ropes. Charlotte with a cravate while the crowd starts to chant about non-match related things. Charlotte with a knee to Alicia.

Charlotte with a figure four head scissors and she drives Alicia's head into the mat. Charlotte propels Alicia across the ring. Alicia with a kick followed by a tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a near fall. Charlotte with a neck breaker and then Charlotte catches Alicia. Alicia escapes and gets a near fall. Charlotte with a spear and she locks in the figure four leg lock and she bridges to get Alicia to tap out.

Winner: Charlotte


Backstage:
Miz is in his locker room and he is getting ready for MizTV.

We are back and it is now an Eight Man Tag Match with the Dudleys and Usos versus The New Day and a partner of their choosing.

Miz is in the ring for MizTV as he introduces everyone. Miz wants to address something before he brings out his guest. Miz says that this is a place where people get things off their chests. It is a place where everyone should feel awesome. Last week it was none of them when his guest was AJ Styles.

We see what happened last week with AJ and Miz.

Miz says that was disgusting. He offered to take that redneck rookie to the red carpet and that is the thanks he gets? He thought it was an episode of Swerved. Miz says that AJ Styles needs to listen to him. Look at what he did for Daniel Bryan. Miz points out that he main evented Wrestlemania.

Chris Jericho's music and pyro interrupt Miz.

Chris says they got some crazy people here tonight. Chris says it was a tremendous introduction but you did not mention his name or anything he has done.

Miz starts to speak but Chris tells Miz to SHUT THE HELL UP. Chris says they have not been waiting and waiting. They do not want to see MizTV. They want to see the Highlight Reel. Chris calls for the Jeritron to be called down and the furniture is removed and replaced for Jericho.

Chris welcomes everyone to the Highlight Reel.

Miz says that he is not Jericho's guest. This is his show. This is not right. None of this is right.

Chris tells Miz he is correct. It is not right. Something is missing. Jericho wants his potted plant and stool from when Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns were guests in Tampa. Chris wants to introduce his guest. Miz had a really rough week. He suffered two losses. First, he lost to AJ Styles. Then he lost his teeth when AJ kicked them out of his head.

We go to footage from Smackdown.

Chris tells Miz he looked stupid, but Miz points out he is not Sheamus. Miz asks if you know how much the Moneymaker costs. He got two veneers and they were ten thousand each. Miz points out that he had a meeting with Steven Spielberg and they got him fixed up in time so the WWE did not lose their matinee idol.

Chris laughs and he talks about the song 'All I want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth'.

Miz tells everyone to be quiet. Miz asks if everyone thinks it is funny and the crowd starts to Yes.

Miz says what he thinks is funny is the fact that he wasn't the only one upstaged by the Phenomenal One. Miz shows a clip of Styles beating Jericho on his Raw debut.

Miz says Styles may have been a big fish in a small pond but that fish beat Chris Jericho on his Raw debut. Miz says he knows that is eating Chris alive.

Chris says it is eating him alive. He has not stopped thinking about it for two weeks. We know AJ Styles is good, but is he great. Does he have what it takes to beat Chris Jericho twice? We will find out on Smackdown. Chris says that he is the best in the world at what he does.

AJ Styles' music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

Miz attacks Jericho and sends him into the corner. Miz kicks Jericho and then Styles gets in the ring and he punches Miz and Jericho with a clothesline to Miz.

Styles and Jericho have a staredown and then they kick Miz and send him to the floor.

Styles and Jericho have some words between themselves and Styles has his hand slapped away by Jericho. Styles hits Jericho and Jericho is pulled to the floor by Miz but Miz is sent over the announce table.


Backstage:
Dean Ambrose is pacing in the back and something involving him is next?

Bray Wyatt (with Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, and Braun Strowman) vs Ryback

They lock up and Bray gets out of the corner. They lock up again and Bray with a kick and uppercut. Wyatt sends Ryback to the floor but Ryback comes back in and hits a boot to the chest. Ryback with a shoulder in the corner followed by a clothesline.

Ryback goes up top and he leaps over Wyatt when Wyatt moves. Ryback with a shoulder tackle followed by a power slam for a near fall. Ryback goes up top and he decides to go to the floor instead and that allows Wyatt to hit a clothesline.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Wyatt with a head lock and a clothesline. Wyatt charges into the corner but Ryback moves and Wyatt hits the ring post shoulder first. Ryback with a running knee into the corner and he follows with a second one. Ryback with shoulders to Wyatt. Wyatt with an Irish whip and he floats over and hits a cross body. Ryback with a spinebuster for a near fall. Ryback sets for the clothesline but Wyatt catches Ryback and hits Sister Abigail for the three count.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

After the match
Wyatt signals for the others to pounce on Ryback. Ryback gets back to his feet and he goes after Strowman. Rowan attacks Ryback from behind and Harper kicks him. Rowan with a full nelson slam. Rowan picks up Ryback for Harper to hit a discus clothesline. Strowman throws Ryback to the floor and Strowman Irish whips Ryback into the apron and ring steps. Rowan and Strowman carry Ryback to Wyatt and Wyatt with Sister Abigail on the floor.

Wyatt kneels over Ryback and tells us to follow the buzzards.


We see Daniel Bryan during his time working with Kane and the I AM THE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS era.

We are back and Vince McMahon commented on Daniel Bryan's retirement as well as Paige and Kalisto. We also see a tweet from Ultimate Warrior's family.

Backstage:
Big E is cleaning a table while Kofi is making sure it is level. Xavier points out where the table will break.

Renee Young comes to ask about the Eight Man Tag Match.

Xavier says it cannot be an eight man tag match because it is only three of them.

Big E says they will find a fourth man.

Kofi says they are like the Broncos because they are champions and everyone loves them.

Big E continues to sing.

Dean Ambrose is still in the hall and Roman Reigns stops by. Dean tells Roman it does not matter what Brock does to him, he is getting a piece of him.

Roman says he is not talking him out of anything. He reminds Dean he got hit by a table.

Dean says he does not need help from Roman. Dean says Brock is his tonight.

Roman tells Dean to give him hell and save him some.

We are back and Heath Slater is with Adam Rose, Bo Dallas, and Curtis Axel. Heath says they are going to take Monday Night Raw viral. Just like last night, millions of people watched the Broncos take down the Panthers. The top trending topic will be how the Florida Gator gets defeated by the Radical Mongoose. Curtis says that is a terrible name. Bo says the universe gave him three best friends. Bo says Titus will see how best friends make best trends.


Titus O'Neil vs Adam Rose (with Bo Dallas, Heath Slater, and Curtis Axel)

Rose with a double thrust to Titus but Titus with a punch and biel. Titus with chops in the corner. Rose with a back elbow and Titus misses a charge into the corner. Rose with a drop kick for a near fall. Rose with forearms and then Rose with a shoulder tackle to the knee. Rose with a round kick and he gets a near fall.

Rose with a sleeper but Titus with elbows. Rose with a forearm and kick to the knee. Titus refuses to be Irish whipped. Titus with an arm wringer that sends Rose across the ring. Titus with a shoulder tackle and clothesline. Rose with a kick but Titus catches Rose and hits a back breaker or three and he tosses Rose aside.

Titus barks and he prepares to charge into the corner but Rose is pulled to the floor. Titus takes care of Slater, Axel, and Dallas. Slater distracts Titus and Rose gets the three count with a rollup.

Winner: Adam Rose

After the match
Titus attacks Rose from behind as he goes to the floor.


Backstage:
Dean Ambrose walks through the back and we go to a look at Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam in 2013 when Bryan won the title.

We are back with a look at the WWE's tribute to Black History Month.

Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring and wants to know what it was that Brock gave him earlier. Was it an F-2 or an F-3 because an F-5 is supposed to hurt. Brock Lesnar cannot keep him down and cannot get the job done. He tells Brock to come out and try again, but this time put some stank on it.

Dean says maybe Triple H was right and Suplex City is going soft. Or is that a personal thing too? Can you get it up for the big fight? Dean says that maybe Paul didn't give you permission. He knows that Paul is his advocate, but he did not know that Paul was required to hold Brock's balls.

Brock's music plays and he makes his way to the stage with Paul Heyman.

Ambrose tries to attack Lesnar on the floor but Brock stops him and sends him into the apron. Brock with knees to Ambrose followed by an Irish whip into the ringside barrier. Brock sends Dean into the ring and then Brock paces on the floor before entering the ring and connecting with a clothesline.

Dean struggles to get to his feet and he moves towards Brock but Brock with a clothesline. Brock picks up Ambrose and hits an F-5 on Ambrose.

Brock leaves the ring but Ambrose wants Brock to give him more.

Brock defies the music and he goes to the ring and . . .

Roman Reigns' music plays and Brock stands around waiting for Roman to make his way on the stage. Roman walks at a casual pace to the ring and Brock forgets that Dean is in the ring, no matter how battered he is.

Ambrose with a low blow and Roman smirks. Ambrose leaves the ring.

Ambrose lays down next to Reigns and Reigns says that Ambrose is crazy.

We are back with a look at what happened when Brock Lesnar had Dean Ambrose battered and beaten until Roman Reigns appeared and allowed Brock to lose his focus and give Dean the chance to hit a low blow.


Sin Cara and Kalisto vs Alberto Del Rio and Rusev (with Wade Barrett)

Rusev and Cara start things off and Rusev kicks Kalisto off the apron and Cara with a rollup for a near fall. Cara with kicks to Rusev followed by chops. Cara with a quebrada for a near fall. Cara goes to the apron and hits an enzuigiri. Cara goes for a sunset flip but Rusev holds on to the ropes and Del Rio tags in and Del Rio kicks Cara. Del Rio with a suplex for a near fall. Del Rio sends Cara into the turnbuckles and Rusev tags back in and he kicks Cara. Rusev with a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Rusev with a nerve hold on Cara. Rusev with a round kick to the temple and he gets a near fall.

Del Rio tags in and he hits a double sledge from the turnbuckles for a near fall. Del Rio with a reverse chin lock. Del Rio with a German suplex for a near fall. Rusev tags in and hits a knee drop. Rusev with an elbow drop followed by a suplex attempt but Cara with a knee and a DDT. Both men are down. Kalisto and Del Rio tag in and Kalisto with a kick from the apron and a springboard seated senton and a corkscrew crossbody. Kalisto with a head scissors driver. Rusev comes in and he is sent to the floor. Cara with a suicide dive to Rusev.

Del Rio counters Salida Del Sol by putting Kalisto on the turnbuckles. Del Rio with a step up enzuigiri to the back of the head and then Del Rio puts Kalisto back on the turnbuckles in the tree of woe. Del Rio with the double stomp for the three count.

Winners: Alberto Del Rio and Rusev


We see footage from earlier today of R Truth at the EMP Museum. He sees Goldust dressed like Jimi Hendrix. Goldust says he is trying to show Truth what he can offer as a tag team champion. Goldust destroys a guitar and then sets it on fire.

Goldust is taken away by security but he still gets to yell out 'Golden Truth'.

Sasha Banks makes her way to the ring and she will be on commentary when we get back.

We see footage of Daniel Bryan and the Yes Movement occupying Raw in March 2014.

We are back and we find out that Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks will be facing Naomi and Tamina at Fastlane.


Tamina (with Naomi) vs Becky Lynch

Becky with a side head lock and Tamina with a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Becky with forearms and kicks to Tamina. Tamina catches Becky but Becky escapes and applies a sleeper but Tamina backs Becky into the turnbuckles to escape. Becky gets distracted by Naomi on the apron and Tamina with a clothesline. Tamina slams Becky's head into the mat and gets a near fall.

Tamina chokes Becky in the ropes and Naomi with a slap when Tamina distracts the referee. Sasha stays at the announce table despite suggestions from Cole. Becky with elbows but Tamina with a back elbow for a near fall. Tamina works on the neck. Becky with a knee to the midsection but Tamina with a head butt. Tamina walks across Becky and she has something to say to Sasha.

Sasha gets up and Naomi with a forearm from behind and she punches Sasha. Naomi sends Sasha into the ring steps.

Becky with a drop kick and then she goes to the floor and attacks Naomi. The referee continues his count while Becky hits an exploder on Naomi. Becky returns to the ring and runs into a super kick and Tamina gets the three count.

Winner: Tamina


Backstage:
We go to the back and we see The New Day talking to someone about the power of positivity and how they are a Ladies' Man. If you put the unicorn horn on, it will be even more. He gives the horn to Mark Henry and he accepts.

Mark asks for Francesca and Xavier hesitates before giving her to Mark. Big E says the music is all good, but it ain't nothing without the moves. They want to see if Mark can dance like the New Day.

We go to commercial.

We are with more comments from fellow WWE wrestlers.

Xavier, Big E, and Kofi want the people to be quiet. This will not be a Table for 3 and Kofi says that is a great plug for a show on the WWE Network. Xavier says they are serving for four and Big E introduces the World's Strongest Unicorn Mark Henry.


Tables Match
Xavier Woods, Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Mark Henry vs Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso

All eight men brawl in the ring to start things off but the New Day are sent to the floor. D-Von with a clothesline to Henry followed by one from Bubba. The Usos with a double drop kick and Mark goes to the floor. Bubba and D-Von pull down the ropes for Jimmy and Jey to hit a stereo plancha.

We go to commercial.

We are back and the New Day and Mark Henry are in control. Big E and Xavier send Jimmy into Mark for a World's Strongest Slam. Mark with a body block to Bubba. The New Day tell Mark to do the splash and Mark tells the New Day no one tells him what to do and Mark leaves.

The New Day turn around and the Usos and Bubba with clotheslines. Jimmy and Bubba with slams for D-Von and Jey to hit Wassup head butts. Bubba calls for the tables and the Dudleys and Usos get them.

Kofi with a kick to D-Von from the apron and Big E with a belly-to-belly suplex to Bubba. Jimmy and Jey with a double super kick to Big E. Kofi misses Trouble in Paradise and then he is hit with a double super kick. Woods is hit with a double super kick as well. Woods is put on the table and Jey goes up top and Big E stops Jey. Jimmy with a dragon whip and then the Dudleys with 3D to Big E through the table.

Winners: Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Bubba Ray Dudley, and D-Von Dudley

After the match
Jey holds his knee and Bubba asks if the New Day wants some more wood.

Bubba hits Jimmy from behin and then D-Von clotheslines Jey. Bubba and D-Von set up a table and then they hit 3D on Jimmy through the table.

D-Von gets another table and brings it into the ring as Jey struggles to get on his feet. Jey with a punch to Bubba but Bubba with forearms and the crowd chants ECW. Bubba is given Jey by D-Von and Bubba with a power bomb through the table.

Bubba asks Jey if he knows who they are. He says they are the baddest tag team on the planet.


We see a Daniel Bryan video package.

Michael Cole announces Daniel Bryan is next.

We are back with the media coverage of Daniel Bryan's retirement.

Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring and he gets a standing ovation from the fans and the announcers at ringside.

The crowd chants for Daniel and you can see that Daniel is very emotional about the reaction he is receiving tonight.

Daniel says just now he was able to close his eyes and feel that. He says he never got to feel it like that because he has to keep his eyes open. He says he will never forget that feeling. Now it is time for Daniel to address the giant elephant in the room. The crowd chants 'No' and Daniel says he did not want to shave his beard. However, he wanted to cut his hair and he had to shave his beard because it looked ridiculous. He says he cut his hair for Wigs for Kids. Daniel talks about the organization.

Now to some less fun stuff. He says he does not want to be doing this as much as the people do not want him to do it. He says he has been wrestling since he was 18 years old. Within the first five months of his wrestling career, he already had three concussions. He would get a concussion here and there. After 16 years, that adds up to a lot of concussions. It gets to the point where they tell you that you cannot wrestle any more.

For a long time, he fought that because he had gotten EEGs, Brain MRI, and other tests that said he was fine and he could come back to wrestle. Daniel says he was training and if the WWE wanted him on a moment's notice, he was ready to wrestle. He says that he loves this more than anything else.

A week and a half ago, he took a test that said that maybe his brain wasn't as okay as he thought he was. He has a family to think about. His wife and him want to have kids soon. The crowd chants 'Yes' and Daniel says that is what Brie says all the time.

Daniel says it is with a heavy heart and the utmost sadness that Daniel officially announces his retirement. If there is one thing. He says he has been angry, sad, and frustrated. However, when he woke up this morning, he felt nothing but gratitude. Daniel says he has gotten to do what he loves for nearly 16 years.

Daniel says that he wants to talk about a few of the things he loves. Daniel says that he loves the Seahawks. He also loves right before his music hits and the sound it makes and the reaction from the crowd no matter how tired or injured he is, it brings a smirk to his face. Daniel says that he loves hitting the ropes and diving through them. He says it makes him feel like Superman. Your reaction makes him feel like Superman. Daniel says that he has wrestled in the parking lot of gas stations and in front of 70,000 people at Wrestlemania.

Daniel says he loves that he has met a monster who is so smart like Kane. He met a man who was his mentor and a friend for more than 16 years in William Regal. He has gotten to meet children who are stronger than he ever though like Connor. He is grateful because wrestling does not owe him or anyone in the back anything. WWE does not owe them anything. They do this because they love to do this.

Then it was strange because he did this because he loves to do this. Then you got behind him in a way that he never thought was possible. A way that fans shouldn't necessarily get behind a guy who is five foot eight and 190 pounds. You got behind him in a way that he felt like more than himself. Daniel says that he is grateful for that. He says that he is grateful because a little over two years ago in this very arena, you guys hijacked Raw.

They were trying to do a championship coronation between John Cena and Randy Orton by combining the titles with all of the former champions. You guys wouldn't stop chanting 'Daniel Bryan'.

Daniel says he is grateful because through wrestling he got to meet the most wonderful woman. She is smart and beautiful and completes him in a way he did not think was possible. He is grateful because he gets to come out here in front of his hometown fans. He gets to announce his retirement in front of a group of people who love him. That special moment he had with his dad, he gets to spend with his mom, his sister, his family, and his friends. He gets to share it with them, with you, with his wife in the back and the people he has spent the last fifteen years of his life with. Daniel says he is grateful.

Tomorrow morning, Daniel says he starts a new life. A life where he is no longer a wrestler. That is tomorrow and that is not tonight. By damn, he has one more night to feel this energy and feel this crowd. Daniel asks for one last 'yes' chant.
