In the fight game, often times the combatants will be fueled by all kinds of things. In the upcoming trilogy bout between UFC Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber, we may have a “first.”

During the UFC Unstoppable press conference earlier this month, Faber referenced Cruz’s “back fat,” an insult that has apparently stuck with the UFC’s 135-pound champion.

On this week’s edition of UFC Tonight, Cruz explained why Faber is going to pay for bringing up his “back fat.”

“Honestly, I want to punch him for five rounds, regardless if I could knock him out in round one. I think I’d rather punch him for five rounds. He’s talking about my back fat, so, I want to hurt him for it. I’ll take back fat over a butt on my face any day of the week, remember that.”

UFC 199: Rockhold vs. Weidman II, featuring the Cruz-Faber III bout, is scheduled for June 4, 2016 in Los Angeles, California.
