Former WWE Superstars Cody Rhodes and Kurt Angle squared off at Sunday night’s NEW “Wrestling Under The Stars” event in Wappingers Falls, New York. Rhodes defeated Angle via pinfall after blocking an Olympic Slam and hitting his Crossrhodes finisher. Here’s the video of the final moments:

Rhodes and Angle are scheduled to wrestle each other once against at WCPW’s October 8th event from Manchester, England.

Other notable matches at last night’s show included Jerry Lawler defeating the Brooklyn Brawler, Matt Hardy (with Reby Sky, Baby Maxell and Senor Benjamin) defeating Sami Callihan and Jeff Hardy defeating Jushin Liger with a swanton in the match of the night. Former WWE Superstar Ryback also did a run-in during a match between Vik Dalishus and Hale Collins.
