The full event card for the upcoming “GREAT VOYAGE 2016 in YOKOHAMA” show on October 23 was announced.

Joining the previously announced GHC single title matches will be Marufuji & Yano defending the GHC Tag belts against New Japan’s Togi Makabe and Tomoaki Honma. Makabe made the challenge against Yano following the New Japan’s show on 10/10. A special single match will be taking place between Shiozaki and Katsuyori Shibata. This match coming about after Shiozaki asking for a match against the current NEVER Openweight Champion. Shibata currently has a title defense set for his belt in New Japan on 11/5. Depending on the outcome of the match, Shiozaki could put him in the title hunt for the belt. Then the GHC Junior Tag belts will be in defense as the new champions in, the World Class Tag Team, Jado and Gedo will be defending against a former champion team in Kenoh and Hajime Ohara. Then in regards to a special match, rookie Kiyomiya will once more get a singles match against the veteran Suzuki. Their last match in July ended in a no contest, which has not sat right with the hungry rookie who is looking for a huge opportunity.
