The full event card has been released for the “GREAT VOYAGE 2017 in FUKUSHIMA” with a press conference that was held today.

The signing ceremony was held for the upcoming GHC Junior Heavyweight match as HAYATA defends the belt against Taiji Ishimori. Ishimori is currently ˝ of the GHC Jr. Tag Champions and even though recently trying to take on the heavier guys in the promotion still says that he has to uphold the junior front as well. HAYATA stated that his only goal is to be a defending champion and it means a lot that his first defense will be against the recorder holder for the most defenses as a former champion. Though this match will also be taking place in Ishimori’s home region, but HAYATA is solely focused on defending the belt and proving himself as a fighting champion that NOAH needs at this time.

Then it was announced that Kaito Kiyomiya will be heading to Canada to begin training overseas for an indefinite amount of time. He will be working under Scott D'Amore, who is involved with Impact Wrestling which NOAH is in alliance with at this time. This will be the first time that the young man has gone overseas, but his goal is to ultimately become stronger and more valuable asset to NOAH when does one day return. Uchida has given him his best wishes on his future decisions and continues growth. That even if Kiyomiya gets an opportunity to compete in Impact Wrestling that he will make the best decision for himself in regards to his future.
