GFW Head of Creative Jeff Jarrett took part in a media conference call on Wednesday afternoon. During the call, Jarrett was asked if the Hardys have acquired the gimmick to which he responded by saying “No they haven’t.”

The Hardys have been in a legal battle since leaving TNA over the “Broken” gimmick earlier this year.

During the same conference call, Jeff Jarrett stated that the recently released agents let go by the company were let go because of the company not needing as many agents as they had on under contract. Shane Helms, who was one of the released agents, posted the following on Twitter:

Jeff Jarrett would rather climb a tree to tell a lie than stay on the ground and tell the truth. #Carney https://t.co/2UL7GeLi5V
