The hit Netflix show GLOW has been renewed for a second season.

The comedy/drama based on the 1980’s Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling promotion premiered on June 23rd to rave reviews.

Set in Los Angeles in 1985, Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie), a struggling actress, auditions along with dozens of other women in a fledgling professional wrestling promotion called the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW). She is at odds with GLOW’s director Sam Sylvia (Marc Maron) due to her tendency to overact. When Ruth’s former best friend, retired soap opera actress Debbie Eagan (Betty Gilpin), arrives at the ring, their confrontation promises to either make or break the show.

The first season featured cameos from several pro wrestling personalities, including John Hennigan, Awesome Kong, Carlito, Christopher Daniels, Kazarian and Brooke Hogan.
