Following the conclusion of the G1 CLIMAX 27, the full match cards have been released for the NJPW's three "DESTRUCTION" shows, as well as two of the headlining matches for KING OF PRO WRESTLING.

"DESTRUCTION in Fukushima" on 9/10 will be the first of the main DESTRUCTION shows, and will feature three title matches. Michael Elgin will challenge Minoru Suzuki for the NEVER Openweight Championship in the main event, having defeated the Suzuki-gun leader during the G1 Climax. EVIL, SANADA & BUSHI will defend the NEVER 6-Man Tag Championship against the CHAOS trio of Kazuchika Okada, Toru Yano & Rocky Romero.
And a 3WAY Match for the IWGP Tag Championship, featuring War Machine vs G.O.D vs K.E.S. will take place on all three DESTRUCTION SHOWS.

Next is "DESTRUCTION in Hiroshima" on 9/16, which will be headlined by an IWGP Intercontinental Championship match between Hiroshi Tanahashi and Zack Sabre Jr., who defeated Tanahashi on the first night of the G1 Climax. The show will also feature an IWGP Jr. Tag Championship match between Ryusuke Taguchi & Ricochet and the Suzuki-gun team of Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Taichi, as well as Roppongi Vice's final match as a team. The duo will face Yujiro Takahashi & Chase Owens.

The final show of the three will be "DESTRUCTION in KOBE" on 9/24. The main event will be another rematch from the G1 Climax as well as the first ever defense of the IWGP U.S. Championship, as Juice Robinson challenges Kenny Omega.

Tetsuya Naito won the G1 CLIMAX 27 earlier this month, earning a chance to challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at the Tokyo Dome. In the aftermath, Naito nominated Tomohiro Ishii to challenge him for that right, and the match has been made official. The two have clashed twice already this year, and Ishii won on both occasions. Naito will look to finally stop the Stone Pitbull as he chases the IWGP Heavyweight Championship once more. And in the main event, following his upset victory over the Rainmaker in the G1, EVIL will challenge Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship
