Earlier this week, Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated’s Extra Mustard blog published a report about Global Force Wrestling being in major trouble.

“GFW is hemorrhaging funds, and sources close to the situation have confirmed that Anthem is ready to withdraw itself from the wrestling industry and sell GFW. Anthem even needed to gut the Fight Network in order to finance GFW.”

In the following days, GFW announced the upcoming launch of their Global Wrestling Network streaming service and several new content distribution deals.

GFW Vice President of Production Kevin Sullivan has since responded to Barrasso’s report, calling it “bs” and questioning Barrasso’s integrity as a journalist

@SInow when did it become ok to print bs? As a journalism major, I find your fact checking to be less than diligent.
