After being defeated by Roman Reigns at No Mercy, it was speculated that John Cena will take some time off and return to WWE for their final Big 4 PPV of the year Survivor Series next month.

However, now it appears that the fans of the former World Champion will have to wait longer than earlier expected to see him returning back to a WWE ring.

Cena is no longer being advertised for the upcoming Non-Exclusive PPV and he has been replaced with Brock Lesnar, who wasn’t part of the lineup for the event so far.

Now the nearest show John is being advertised for is a Raw Brand WWE Live Event from Madison Square Garden, New York, on December 26th.

Interestingly he is also being advertised for a SmackDown Brand Live Event from Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL on December 30th, so it’s hard to say which Brand he will show up at when he finally makes his televised return.

This is not very surprising news as many speculated that the Leader Of Cenation will remain out of action for the remainder of the year ever since he landed a role in the Transformers Spin-Off Movie.

Currently, there is no news on when John Cena will make his televised return to the company and what storyline Officials have in mind for him upon his return.
