A new match has been officially announced for NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 12 event.

New Japan Pro Wrestling announced on Monday morning that ROH World Champion Cody Rhodes would defend his title against Kota Ibushi.

The event is scheduled to take place on January 4, 2018, at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. Here is the updated lineup:

  • IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship Match: Kenny Omega (c) vs. Chris Jericho
  • IWGP Intercontinental Championship Match: Hiroshi Tanahashi (c) vs. Jay White
  • IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship Match: Marty Scurll (c) vs. Hiromu Takahashi vs. Kushida vs. Will Ospreay
