It has been revealed that NJPW star Kota Ibushi worked matches this past weekend with a 102 degrees Fahrenheit fever. The ‘Golden Star’ took part in Riki Choshu Produce Power Hall 2018 – Set Back The Clock at Korakuen Hall teaming alongside Gota Ihashi & Riki Choshu to defeat Daisuke Sekimoto, TAKA Michinoku & Tatsumi Fujinami in the main event of the show filmed for Samurai TV in Japan.

Japanese wrestling correspondant Chris Charlton confirmed that Ibushi was suffering with the fever and revealed that Ibushi took the win for his team after hitting the Sit Out Last Ride.

Well, Ibushi did it, golden triangle and sit out last ride and all. Pat on the back (and washed hands afterward) https://t.co/HJbuqJpfhW

Ibushi going ahead with the Choshu show, despite a 38.9 fever. (He's probably got the flu, so if you're in Korakuen today, I dunno, wear a mask or something) https://t.co/HnXM7eaBiT
