John Cena was a guest on RAW Talk with Renee Young and Peter Rosenberg after WWE Elimination Chamber 2018. Cena was disappointed after his loss in the Elimination Chamber match.

Cena brought up losing to Roman Reigns at WWE No Mercy 2017 and how he felt that a burden has been lifted off his shoulders. John noted that he wound up wanting that burden back but came up short.

Cena said that by no means is he done, but he has a logical voice in the back of his head that is telling him that he is 41-years-old and that eventually time is going to catch up to him. John stated that he has a bunch of conflicting interests and that he wants to do well outside of WWE. Cena said that the more times he spends away from WWE he feels like he is falling behind.

John added that after his loss, he has no idea if he is going to WrestleMania. Renee Young added that it is scary to imagine a WrestleMania with John Cena not there. Cena said that he can still compete at a high caliber level, but keeps coming up short. Cena claimed that he doesn’t have an opponent at WrestleMania but he has a plan that may require him to step out of the proper etiquette of the WWE. Rosenberg asked Cena what he meant by that and Cena said “I’ll figure it out” and walked away.
