Angry BREAKING: Conor McGregor Crashes UFC Media Day, Warrant Issued For His Arrest

Is Conor McGregor acting out now that there's talk UFC will apparently strip him of his lightweight title?

During UFC 223 media day in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center, McGregor showed up and someone captured alleged footage of him throwing a heavy metal gate at a bus:

More from MMA Junkie on what happened:

Video surfaced of McGregor causing trouble in the depths of Barclays Center, throwing a railing and chairs at one of the buses set to transport fighters back to the host hotel.

Michael Chiesa was injured as a result of the chaos. Chiesa's coach, Rick Little, told MMAjunkie that Chiesa was "cut up" from shattered glass.

    Little also described what happened.

"Conor went bananas and put a beating on the van that we were in looking for Khabib," Little said. "A million security guards had to restrain him. Mike's cut up now. He's got marks on him, for sure. I don't think too serious. Everything happened so fast, it was just like we got jumped."

ESPN’s Brett Okamoto has revealed that, according to Dana White, a warrant has been issued for the arrest of McGregor. Okamoto stated that McGregor’s plane, presumably a private jet, has also been grounded.

Dana White said warrant is out for Conor McGregor’s arrest. His plane can’t leave New York.

The incident involving Conor McGregor, along with fellow fighters Charlie Ward and Artem Lobov, kicked off shortly after UFC 223’s Media Day, being held at the Barclay’s Center - site of Saturday night’s event.

Reporter Jim Edwards captured footage of McGregor et al entering the building “looking for Khabib [Nurmagomedov].” Nurmagomedov was involved in an incident with Artem Lobov yesterday, where the two were captured in a heated conversation that required separation.

Lobov had been scheduled to face Alex Caceres at UFC 223, but that fight has since been canceled.

After the scene captured by Edwards, it appears McGregor and his crew encountered a set of vans transporting fighters away from the arena. Cellphone footage captured what appeared to be McGregor attempting to throw objects at the van. At least one window in the van is seen to be smashed.

It was reported soon after that Michael Chiesa, scheduled to fight Anthony Pettis on Saturday, had suffered lacerations in connection to the incident (per Brett Okamoto).
