Mark Henry is coming out of retirement from in-ring competition for one special WWE event.

Henry has been with the sports entertainment company since 1996. He was just 24-years of age when he decided to get into the pro wrestling business. During his time with the company, he held the WWE World Heavyweight Title, ECW Title, and European Title.

If you recall, Henry hinted that he would be wrapping up his career as an in-ring performer in WWE when the WWE Network aired an episode of “Table For 3.” He would later officially announce that his 21-year in-ring career was coming to an end.

He has gone on record in previous interviews by stating that he wants to help all of the up-and-coming male and female talent develop and become successful in the company.

WWE has released this video of the WWE Hall of Famer talking about working the upcoming Greatest Royal Rumble event. As for the reason he’s coming out of retirement, Henry stated, “I’ve been retired now for 10 months and I’m only coming out of retirement this one time for you.”
