- For the past several months, it’s been rumored that WWE will be running a stadium show in Australia later this year. WWE has yet to acknowledge plans for the down-under mega event, but prominent Melbourne sports media figure Craig Hutchinson says the show is happening on October 6th from MCG Stadium. The venue has a capacity of over 100,000 people.

WWE 2K19

- On Wednesday, WWE made the first official announcement about WWE 2K19, the next installment of the company’s annual video game franchise.

Last year’s game was released in mid-October for PS4 & Xbox One, with the Nintendo Switch version arriving in December.

- WWE Hall of Famer “Mean” Gene Okerlund is featured in a new Mountain Dew commercial with comedian Kevin Hart. The 75-year-old broadcasting legend is depicted in familiar surroundings – conducting a backstage interview with a screaming ‘wrestler.’
