Some details have emerged regarding the deals that are currently in place for WWE’s NXT UK Superstars.

According to a report from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the talents signed to the WWE NXT UK brand are on one-year deals with the majority of those being worth around 24,000 pounds ($31,600 USD). This is a nice raise from the $20,000 deals UK talents received when they initially signed for their first year.

As far as the pay raise, WWE may have done this because they wanted to get wrestlers that were with ITV for their World of Sport revival; such as Zack Gibson, El Ligero, Dave Mastiff, Kenny Williams, Ashton Smith and Joe Coffey. Some of the Superstars, including female competitors, were granted extended tryouts that will keep them from going to ITV. They will also be used for the Mae Young Classic.

It should be noted WWE has the option to cancel these deals at the four month and eight month marks. The deals also ban the talents from working with other promotions that have TV deals or strong online followings such as Revolution Pro, Defiant, Impact, Ring of Honor or NJPW.
