Roman Reigns has a shot at passing up some big names in WWE history this weekend at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

Extreme Rules goes down live this weekend (Sun. July 15, 2018) from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Roman Reigns is expected to go one-on-one with Bobby Lashley at the event in a normal singles match. A user on Reddit noted that should Reigns and Lashley main event the PPV, it will be Reigns’ 27th PPV main event of his career.

That would put him at number 11 all time PPV main eventers; surpassing names such as Batista, Bret Hart, Kurt Angle and Edge. That also puts him one main event behind Brock Lesnar, who is number 10 all time with 28 main events.

The other names ahead of Reigns can be found below, with John Cena leading the pack with 72 all time PPV main events:

  • Chris Jericho (30)
  • The Rock (33)
  • Stone Cold Steve Austin (68)
  • Shawn Michaels (68)
  • Randy Orton (68)
  • Triple H (68)
  • The Undertaker (69)
  • John Cena (72)

It should also be noted that if Reigns vs. Lashley main events Extreme Rules it will the the first time ever a normal match has main evented the PPV event.
