There is a lot of speculation that Daniel Bryan is getting closer to signing a new contract with the WWE.

Itís been well known that Bryanís contract is slated to expire on September 1st, 2018. The latest update on this situation is that Bryan has yet to sign a new contract with the WWE.

Whatís interesting is that the company is advertising him for an upcoming SmackDown Live TV event in Detroit, Michigan at the Little Caesars Arena on September 4th. This could be a further indication that Bryan will sign a new contract with the WWE.

According to the promotional material listed on the arenaís website, Bryan will team up with WWE Champion AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy to take on Shinsuke Nakamura, The Miz, and Samoa Joe in a six-man tag team match.

WWE is also advertising him for the upcoming Super Show-Down event on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Melbourne, Australia despite the fact that itís taking place in October, a month after his WWE contract expires. Keep in mind that the cards for WWE events are always subject to change.
