We start off with Drake Maverick mentioning that he will address the next challenger for Cedric Alexander. He says things will be decided in the ring when Lio Rush faces Akira Tozawa. Vic asks if Lio deserves the main event but Nigel says you need to earn a main event spot, not deserve it.

TJP comes out and he says that he feels special because he knows his opponent tonight. TJP says he would like to be a challenger for the Cruiserweight title but he is curtain jerking in this diaper of a town. He asks if the people admit they are from here or say they are from Philly. TJ says this match will be twice as handsome than if he was facing someone in the crowd. Noan's comeback story will be a comeback sentence. He will prove why he is the best in the game.


TJP vs Noam Dar

TJP misses a punch as the bell rings. Dar with a take down and TJP goes to the floor. Dar with a knee and punch. Dar with another punch and he sends TJ back into the ring. Dar with a belly-to-back throw for a near fall. TJ with a double leg take down and then he applies a cross arm breaker. Dar with an escape and TJP gets to the ropes. TJ sends Dar into the ropes and he hits a slingshot drop kick. TJ sends Dar into the turnbuckles and he connects with a European uppercut. TJ chokes Dar in the corner as we see Maverick watching the match from his office.

TJ with a European uppercut and slam. TJ goes to the apron for a slingshot senton for a near fall. TJ with a suplex and he goes for the injured leg but TJ works on the arms instead. Dar gets his foot on the rope to force TJ to break the hold. Dar with forearms but TJ with a punch. Dar with a back slide for a near fall. TJ goes for the arm but Dar rolls through. TJ with a hammer lock using the leg and he hyperextends the other arm. TJ with a suplex and he rolls through into a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. TJ with a step over toe hold and then he works on the arm.

Dar with an inside cradle for a near fall. Dar runs into a boot in the corner but Dar knocks TJ from the turnbuckles. Dar with head butts to the midsection followed by a European uppercut. Dar with a running hip into the corner followed by a Northern Lights throw for a near fall. TJ gets Dar up for a moment but Dar gets back to his feet. Dar drop kicks the legs and then he hits a Northern Lariat for a near fall.

Dar waits for TJ to get up and TJ rolls out of the way. TJ with an inside cradle for a near fall. TJ sends Dar into the middle rope. TJ misses the slingshot drop kick and Dar with a baseball slide to send TJ to the floor. TJ sends Dar into the ringside barrier. TJ kicks Dar and he lands on the apron. Dar kicks TJ away and Dar holds his knee. TJ clips Dar and then he kicks Dar in the back and applies a single leg crab in the ropes. TJ stands on Dar's injured leg and then he goes for the knee bar and Dar taps out.

Winner: TJP


We take a look back at last week's Cruiserweight Title Match between Cedric Alexander and Hideo Itami.

We are back with comments from Mustafa Ali talking about how he could have quit against Buddy Murphy but he fought back. Mustafa says he will continue the fight until he is Cruiserweight Champion.


Drew Gulak (w/ Jack Gallagher and Brian Kendrick) vs Danny Garcia

Gulak with a clothesline as the bell rings and Gulak with a Saito suplex and the GuLock. Garcia passes out.

After the match
Drew takes the mic and he says you can't always get what you want, but you might get what you need. Drew says he is not one for the rock and roll but Mick Jagger makes a salient point. The 205 Live crowd has been subjected to two years of unworthy challengers. You will get the champion you need in him. Drew says that Danny Garcia reminds him of Cedric Alexander because when you step to him, you will tap out.


We take a look at what Buddy Murphy did last week during the Tony Nese versus Lince Dorado match.

Backstage:
Tony Nese and Buddy Murphy are in the interview area and Dasha asks Buddy about his actions last week. He says he does not like to lose and the Luchas were in the wrong place at the wrong time. The only thing he feels bad about is that Tony could not show what he can do. Tony says he will face Kalisto next week and it will be one on one.

Lio Rush vs Akira Tozawa

Both men jockey for position but cannot take advantage of the situation. Rush with a side head lock and Rush floats over and avoids Tozawa. Rush with a head scissors and then he relaxes on the turnbuckles. We see Drake looking in the general direction of the monitor. Rush goes to the floor and Tozawa follows. Rush gets back into the ring and he misses a clothesline. Rush with a sunset flip but Tozawa rolls through and kicks Rush and hits a back senton. Tozawa relaxes on the turnbuckles.

Tozawa with chops and then Rush sends Tozawa to the apron. Rush with a handspring kick to send Tozawa to the floor. Tozawa gets back into the ring. Rush kicks Tozawa. Rush with punches but Tozawa with a kick to the midsection. Rush with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Rush with forearms but Tozawa fires back. Rush with a running back elbow. Rush with a corkscrew elbow drop and he follows with a second one. Rush with a side head lock and Tozawa with elbows and chops.

Tozawa gets Rush to flinch and Tozawa misses the jab. Rush with strikes and then Tozawa flips Rush and hits the jab. Tozawa kicks Rush to the floor. Tozawa with a suicide dive head butt that sends Rush into the announce table. Tozawa goes up to and hits a missile drop kick for a near fall. Tozawa blocks a kck but he punches Tozawa. Tozawa spits out his mouthguard and he hits a German suplex. Tozawa goes up top for the back senton but Rush goes to the floor. Tozawa goes to the floor and Rush tries to send him into the steps but Tozawa stops short. Tozawa with a punch and kick. Tozawa goes up top and Rush pulls Tozawa off the turnbuckles.

Rush with the frog splash for the three count.

Winner: Lio Rush


Backstage:
Drake Maverick is in the office and Cedric Alexander enters. Cedric says that he would have some answers about his opponent.

Drake says he has thought about Cedric's challenger. His decision is down to the body of work of the individual. It will be Drew Gulak versus Hideo Itami versus TJP versus Mustafa Ali in a Fatal Four Way. The winner will face Cedric for the Cruiserweight Championship.
