Legendary Japanese wrestler Jushin ”Thunder” Liger is headed back to Ring of Honor.

On Wednesday (August 1, 2018), the Baltimore-based promotion announced on their official website and social media that Liger is slated to make his promotional return at the upcoming Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event. As of this writing, the company did not disclose who he would be wrestling at this show or what type of match he would be competing in. However, the expectation is that the information will be known shortly.

Liger’s last appearance for ROH came back in August of 2017 when teamed with Delirious and Místico to unsuccessfully challenge Dalton Castle and The Boys for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship during their UK tour stop in London.

Bullet Club (Cody, Adam Page, The Young Bucks, and Marty Scurll) vs. CHAOS (Kazuchika Okada, Chuckie T, Beretta, Tomohiro Ishii, and Rocky Romero) in a 10-man tag team match has already been confirmed for this show.

Ring of Honor is slated to hold their Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday, September 28, 2018. The event will air on traditional PPV outlets and the FITE TV app. The promotion will be announcing more matches in the coming weeks.
