With the Officials reviving the Starrcade brand name for a show last year and the report of a number of WWE PPVs being rebranded with the names used by WCW, many have started wondering if WWE Officials could ever revive WCW as a separate brand.

During a recent interview with Lock Up podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer and TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett talked about this topic among other things.

After being inducted into the Hall Of Fame earlier this year, Jarrett made his in-ring return for AAA in Mexico and he even won the Mega Championship there.

Talking about his in-ring return at the age of 51, the former Impact Star said that he is in good physical health, crediting DDP Yoga as a big motivator.

While discussing a possible WCW revival, the former World Champion said that the WWE Officials will take bits and pieces from WCW’s legacy to monetize it, instead of bringing it back as a brand.

Continuing on the topic, he gave the example of how NXT has succeeded as a brand and claimed that it makes sense to invest in a new brand instead of an older one.
