The speculation about Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix being WWE-bound is probably going to increase after this weekend.

On Friday afternoon, Major League Wrestling (MLW) officials issued a statement confirming the news that Pentagon and Fenix have been pulled from their upcoming “Fury Road” television tapings in October.

MLW announced that a match between Pierre Carl Ouellet (PCO) and LA Park will replace the originally scheduled tag-team bout pitting reigning MLW Tag-Team Champions Pentagon and Fenix against LA Park & El Hijo de LA Park at the taping.

The announcement comes amid rumors that the brothers have been reportedly reaching out to promoters and telling them that they may no longer be able to honor dates that they have booked in 2019.

The MLW “Fury Road” television tapings are scheduled to take place on October 4th at the Melrose Ballroom in Queens, New York. For ticket information, visit MLWTickets.com.
