Putting on a massive event like ALL IN isn’t cheap.

The highly anticipated pay-per-view event that goes down this weekend features stars from all over the professional wrestling world and might just be one of the most ambitious independent shows in recent memory.

As one of the primary people behind the show, Cody Rhodes knows exactly what it took to get this incredible lineup together.

In fact, Rhodes had to go above and beyond when it came time to afford the ‘Over Budget Battle Royal’, which earned its name thanks to the real life financial constraints that were required to make it happen in the first place.

With an hour long special dubbed ‘ALL IN: Zero Hour’ set to air on WGN America, Rhodes knew he had to pull out all the stops to make the battle royal happen — and so that’s exactly what he did.

“When you look at the ring for the entire show — you look at the canvas, you look at the aprons, the buckles, all the soft goods that make up a professional wrestling ring – know that I sold each and every one of them to various collectors so that I could afford the Over Budget Battle Royal,” Rhodes revealed on the latest ALL US podcast.

Memorabilia from events like this one can fetch a premium price from collectors so that’s exactly what Rhodes used to ensure he could afford the battle royal that will air on WGN America.

The winner of that battle royal will then go onto compete for the Ring of Honor championship during the pay-per-view portion of ALL IN.

Rhodes definitely gets points for creativity and now ALL IN: Zero Hour will feature the ‘Over Budget Battle Royal’ starting at 6 p.m. ET on WGN America this Saturday night.
