Ring of Honor has officially announced the opponent for Jushin ”Thunder” Liger at the upcoming Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event. On Thursday (August 30, 2018), the Baltimore-based promotion announced on their official website and social media that the legendary Japanese wrestler would take on Kenny King at the show.

Liger’s last appearance for ROH came back in August of 2017 when teamed with Delirious and Místico to unsuccessfully challenge Dalton Castle and The Boys for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship during their UK tour stop in London.

Ring of Honor is slated to hold their Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday, September 28, 2018. The event will air on traditional PPV outlets and the FITE TV app.

The promotion will be announcing more matches in the coming weeks. As a reminder, ROH will be holding TV tapings in the same venue the following night for upcoming episodes of their television show.
