Pro Wrestling: EVE has announced that Sendai Girls Champion Chihiro Hashimoto will be part of their Strong Women Style event on September 29th.

Hashimoto is a former three time Sendai Girls World Champion. She trained under Japanese wrestling legend Meiko Satomura as part of the Sendai Girls Dojo. Hashimoto made her professional debut in October 2015 and named the 2016 Rookie of the Year by the acclaimed Tokyo Sports publication. Thus becoming only the second female to win the award in history.

Hashimoto will be facing Mae Young Classic competitor Alpha Female in a first time ever match. Alpha (also known as Jazzy Gilbert) recently returned to action after being sidelined for 6 months with an injury.

EVE recently held the biggest event in the history of European Women’s wrestling at Wrestle Queendom. The event took place at the historic York Hall in Bethnal Green and saw the winner of last year’s SHE-1 event Charlie Morgan defeat Sammii Jayne to become the Pro Wrestling: EVE champion.
