A new title match has been announced for the upcoming Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event. Keep in mind that this announcement contains a spoiler as the match has yet to be revealed on television.

On Friday (September 7, 2018), the Baltimore-based promotion announced on their official website and social media that ROH Women of Honor World Champion Sumie Sakai will be defending the strap against Tenille Dashwood.

This match was set up once Sakai stated that she felt like she couldn’t truly call herself champion until she beat Dashwood one-on-one.

Ring of Honor is slated to hold their Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday, September 28, 2018. The event will air on traditional PPV outlets and the FITE TV app.

The promotion will be announcing more matches in the coming weeks. As a reminder, ROH will be holding TV tapings in the same venue the following night for upcoming episodes of their television show.
