For those who don’t know, WCW held Starrcade for several years in the month of November but was moved to the month of December starting in 1988. The first ever Starrcade event went down on November 24, 1983, was held at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The last edition of Starrcade under the WCW banner took place in December 2000. Last year, WWE brought back the theme for a live event on November 25th.

As of this writing, there’s no word yet on if this will just be a live event or turned into a network special, but with it being held a few days after Survivor Series, it will likely just be a house show.
