It has been reported that Impact Wrestling officials, Ed Nordholm and Scott D’Amore, were involved in a meeting with high ranking WWE executives.

The meeting took place at WWE HQ in Stamford, Connecticut during the middle of last week. Vince McMahon was supposedly not involved in the meeting, but members of Triple H’s team were in attendance.

The matters discussed have not bee disclosed. Given the Impact officials’ hectic traveling schedule, it could indicate the importance of it.

Nordholm and D’Amore returned to the United States from Manchester, United Kingdom. They were able to attend the meeting before heading straight to Mexico City for a pair of scheduled Impact Wrestling tapings.

A WWE source allegedly described the meeting as a general discussion between the two companies. It was viewed as providing all parties an opportunity to be in the same room to discuss their future business relationship.

WWE has actually worked with Impact Wrestling on a number of occasions since Impact was purchased by Anthem.

Previous discussions brokered the use of the TNA/Impact Wrestling video library for WWE Network content, such as with the Hardy Boyz “Broken Universe” and older AJ Styles footage.
