Former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Drew McIntyre was recently interviewed by Planeta Wrestling, and during the interview, he named two current NXT stars who he thinks are ready for the WWE main roster.

McIntyre recalled once he went to NXT after a successful run on the indy scene and in Impact Wrestling, he knew it was the right move because NXT was in a position like it always is, which is the third brand of the WWE. He thought he came in during restart phase of NXT with talent being moved up to the main roster.

The former NXT Champion talked about how “People started finding themselves like the Velveteen Dream, and now, from top to bottom the roster is stacked.”

McIntyre believes that NXT is a really good place right now so it’s hard to choose because there are so many talented people. He thinks Velveteen Dream and Ricochet are obvious talents ready to be placed from NXT to the main roster.

McIntyre will be featured on Team RAW (Kurt Angle, Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley & Dolph Ziggler) to take on Team SmackDown (Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio, The Miz & Randy Orton) in a Men’s Elimination Tag Team Match at the Survivor Series pay-per-view event on Sunday, November 18, 2018.
